Solid news, makes Minnesota a non entity next year.

I believe this kid will be an outstanding pro. I think the Illinois kid could be outstanding as well. I think Garza should be ready as well.
Seeing Garza get physical in the NBA and not have the refs bail him out will be entertaining to say the least.
Wouldn’t be surprised at all if Garza stays
It's because of this I think he stays...:AngryGarza is a great college player. But he is an old school player as far as the NBA goes. He would have been a good NBA big in the 1970s, not now. IMHO

There’s a rumor that Garza might be staying, which would surprise me.
Garza can shoot the 3.
Let's see what mini me Pitino pulls out of his hat.
Color me surprised if Garza doesn’t declare for the draft. He had as good a year as any player in the country and is NPOY-worthy. A big who can bury it from deep. Not seeing how he can improve much more beyond what he accomplished this year.
Neither would I to be honest.
The numbers he's capable of putting up at home are draft altering. He does literally whatever the hell he wants on the floor in Iowa and gets away with it because "so special..., so dominant..."
The minute he picks up his second foul on any floor McCaffery puts on a show of crapping his pants with insane anger to get it to stop and respect the "so special..., so dominant..." player.
That crap won't fly in the NBA until he proves out to be legit which either won't happen (my bet) or will take a lot of time.[/QUOTE
Garza might be better suited playing overseas where he would make a lot of money as a star player.
No surprise here. Saw a mock draft with him going 4.
List I saw had him #4 in a mock draft. I don't recall where I saw it. Any writer can throw out their own mock draft.#4 overall?
Do you have a link?
The highest I've seen is mid 20's.
Even the ESPN article linked has him #36 draft prospect.
It's probably more likely #4 in 2nd round than #4 in 1st round.

Hopefully we now play them 2x next year - an at MN visit .
NBADraft.net has him 7th.
Was about to type this! We certainly SHOULD get them twice!!
He can shoot the three well, especially for a big. But he is slow for the league, and the bigs in the NBA are a different breed then they were years ago. I fully expect him to be back at Iowa and part of a very very good Iowa team especially if Bohannon is healthy.
