I dont want Rutgers to pay recruits, I'm realistic that some players are out of reach. Are there top 50-100 that don't yes, but not many with "handlers" and "uncle"-type family members.

Why are people disparaging the kid. That is crazy.
Am I the only one who's uncomfortable with the handful of guys here who suggest that RU should pay for recruits?
This is slander . Why would you assume such a thing? Kid wants to be an engineering major. Does that seem like an 18 year old that has his priorities?

Plus Berger wanted to OV but Rutgers got the Wisconsin kid who is actually better and faster at what Berger does. Nick Saban does this all the time. Let the kid go and believe what Wisconsin was selling him until he gets there and realize it’s 3 yards and a cloud of dust in Madison. Aron had to see for his self. Kid should’ve been at Ohio State.

If he is serious about being an eng'g major he should talk to Myles who is loving it (and hating it, like every eng'g student, since it's not easy), from what I hear from the support staff. Or me, lol - I don't know who ASU paid off at US News, but I can tell you that nobody actually thinks ASU eng'g is as good as RU eng'g (at least nobody in chem/mech eng'g, where we recruit heavily from RU and never even thought of ASU - and yes, we recruit nationally).
My prediction is that he commits to RU, then 3 days later, a reporter from NJ dot com reports that he saw him pick up a quarter off the ground during his visit and reports it to the NCAA, who in an unprecedented move, puts RU on 12 years probation and forces the school to tear down the practice facility...
I don't know whether to love this post, or to hate it for getting my hopes up, hehe.

Anybody who has been a Rutgers basketball fan has learned getting this level guy to commit here is nearly impossible. If Pikiell can close the deal then it puts us on the map going forward. We need to BEAT Maryland... that would certainly help our cause.

My friend in the eng'g school dean's office said Cliff paid a nice long visit to the eng'g school, today, hosted by one of the deans and Myles, of course, and it supposedly went very well...
What a move to show support! All the coaches and almost the whole team! They are doing everything within the rules that they possibly can. Maybe a real family feel is important for Cliff. Gotta like the scarlet sneakers... has he been wearing them or is that new?
