Don’t see any other school showing as much love as he would get from RU ... if he’s very good he’s the man ... at other schools he’s just another player.

Nothing to see or read into here.

Recruits include #notcommitted in social media posts when they visit a school, take part in a photoshoot in that school's uniform and Tweet the pics.

That way everyone knows that it is not a commitment Tweet.

Yeah, I think that was exactly the OP’s point—no commit.

I have a strange feeling that he's coming to Rutgers, and the guard from Missouri.

Damn we have so much depth - I never realized how much room we have. We could add cliff and darius myles. And kiss leavin would be a 3rd ship

It is nice to be hopeful but Rutger ‘s recent record in getting kids like Cliff are not good. If by some chance Cliff did commit here it would lead to more of the same. We need to make the Dance plain and simple . A win at Wisconsin tomorrow is imperative at this juncture . Lose and our chances become slim.

The point is that he didn’t commit on his visit, which is good for Rutgers.
Also, it's good for whoever else is on his list.

However, I don't think many people expected him to commit on the visit, not even the ASU staff. Even with Marcus Bagley frequently in contact with Cliff and selling him on ASU.

If Cliff's decision comes down to engineering schools he'll pick RU.

If he is looking for weather and girls you can’t beat ASU but everyone here knows that already. The PAWGS in Arizona that come from all over since it’s so easy to get into ASU are definitely a draw. Hopefully the big man enjoys NJ and are mild winters.

How Coach has accommodated for Myles’ tough academic schedule should show Cliff that RU will give him the support he needs to succeed in the classroom and on the court. ASU has a sold engineering program, ranked a few slots above us, which makes me nervous. Hope Coach can close by selling playing in front of family, and by having the support of another teammate with similar academic interests.

It's possible that Peter Kiss transfers after the season. I don't have any inside info, but for some reason, like lack of playing time, he might decide to go.
Huh? This is the most obvious prediction of all time. The more alarming thing is that many are saying Montez Mathis might go as well.

The over/under on people leaving is 1.5. And you get paid more for taking the under......meaning 2 is more likely than 1

only GRF hypothetical odds

I know there's speculation on Mathis leaving but is he really going to find a better situation than the one he's in now? He's a starting player on a possible NCAA Tournament team. I can't imagine there are a lot of NCAA Tournament teams that would be playing him much more than we are.

No ... it’s quite the possibility based on our shooting woes... a win today takes immense pressure off us to get to 21 wins and sorry we need 21 to assure us getting the call... to think otherwise is wishful thinking at this point...we are viewed as an improving program and only that... some very obvious warts are being seen by our opponents and our fans... I hope we make it but we need much better shooting and some inside dominance from our bigs.

Wow PAWGS used on this site, that's a first I think.

So Local Shill ... how does this not impact Rutger's chance to Dance in 2020 ? My statement was not false ..our opponents have figured us out... reading the board's complaints about Wisconsin getting away with playing physical is asinine ... Steve Piekell deteriorated as a leader these past 10 games and not just because our competition was tougher than our earlier games but his inability to ADJUST ... I still think the Jacob Young issue and now this board's rumor that Mathis is leaving has some impact...

I’m not a Sky is Falling guy... Why ? ...I’m a Rutgers guy and more so than most in NJ... simply I’m a realist with regarding RU and their strengths in basketball... I ‘m too old to worry and too smart to think that what we saw early on was how things would play out in the end... we can certainly Dance but it is now gonna be a real test of just how good our coaches are and how determined the players are... what is disconcerting is the incident involving Young and rumors of Mathis and his unhappiness over playing time...We’ll know within 2 weeks.. I hope I’m waaaaay wrong ...
