If he is looking for weather and girls you can’t beat ASU but everyone here knows that already. The PAWGS in Arizona that come from all over since it’s so easy to get into ASU are definitely a draw. Hopefully the big man enjoys NJ and are mild winters.
But are they easy to get into? Probably so I figure. Especially the ones hoping to be the next PAWG to hook a player they think might be in the NBA one day.

How Coach has accommodated for Myles’ tough academic schedule should show Cliff that RU will give him the support he needs to succeed in the classroom and on the court. ASU has a sold engineering program, ranked a few slots above us, which makes me nervous. Hope Coach can close by selling playing in front of family, and by having the support of another teammate with similar academic interests.
But is he he even from here and is his family here? I don't know. But just because he was recruited to Roselle Cathoklic that doesn't mean he has any ties to Jersey otherwise.

Idk much about him. Just that he does crystal ball predictions on 247, and he's been right on most of his predictions this yr. All it means at this point is that Cliff enjoyed Arizona. Doubt it's over - or he would have just committed already

Is andrew slater affiliated to coverage for ASU or the PAC 12 ?

It was reported a while ago elsewhere that things were happening behind the scenes already with Cliff and A$U

What percent of top 50 kids don't get a visit from the bagman? 0?

Slater is a cash guy IMO or is aware of the movers and shakers in this realm.....if he placed a CB, it's because he's aware of something significant and it's a wrap IMO..

its not over yet, but I've felt for months and months that it just didn't seem like it was going to happen. As RU was having a terrific season, he was in the crowd for many games, the current players showing him so much love, the RAC chanting his name, Pike and coaches at several of his games ... and after all of that he didn't even issue favorable quotes towards RU ... you had to know that RU basically gave everything at him and he still didn't commit, that it wasn't likely to happen.

My fingers are crossed that he makes it to the RU for the official to give Pike the courtesy and chance of one last sell. But I have to believe this whole time all along that the "forces behind the scenes" were at work the whole time and Pike would've won this recruiting battle if playing field was completely level.

He follows a few players from RU, coaches, even Rutgers strength coach. Has visited a few times. Practice facility, midnight madness, and a couple games. Even follows a bunch of other Rutgers stuff on Twitter. If ASU has been the plan all along - just shows how crazy recruiting teenagers are

Not sure why anyone thought Omoruyi would commit to us. I get wanting him to, we all wanted him to. It’s just not realistic for myriad reasons.
Myriad - can you give me your top three reasons? We offer B10, slide into starting spot, close to home and are a borderline tourney team. All about the bag man?

There’s a coach at ASU that’s connected to Cliff in some way. That’s been the reason why he’s considered a Sun Devil lean.

I don’t know about Mathis, but I’d keep an eye on Young as a possible transfer. He’s graduating this year, and wouldn’t have to sit out if he left. Maybe go somewhere where he’s the focal point. Maybe to a mid major? He’s already been to the tournament so no need to stick around for that.

He should take the money from asu and sign here. What are they going to do about it?

All you have to do is watch Montez on the bench when Paul gets 25+ minutes it tells you all you need to know.

Last game o really hope Pikiell realized Tez needs more minutes, and he road him down the stretch - if it’s how Pike closes out the year Montez will stay.

If Mulcahy gets his minutes he’s gone IMO

Montez leaving is a jag-off comment meant to upset the board. The author doesn't know WTF he's talking about.

I doubt he knows anything.

Everyone is transferring and all the new guys are redshirting. Should be a fun season next year.

Pike has done everything humanly possible to land Cliff. If the kid doesn’t want to come to Rutgers, oh well.

It's not PIke. The question is and will always be for kids like this. Are the alums doing everything they can do?

aka the alums are bag men or job givers or whatever benefit fits the bill and the coach doesn’t have to know about it

Exactly. There is a reason we never, ever get these kids. And that's why. The type of program we have now is basically the type of program we should expect to have if things don't get taken to another level.

Correct . I think most of us would be fine if we take things to the next level and make a final 4

Should be a collection at the rac for the next home game : 100$ per fan x 8,000 fans = $80,000k . Put that in a couple gym bags and we are in the sweet 16 in 2 years , maybe even the final 4.
That’s how this sport works .

Given the complaints here about the price of pretzels and hot dogs and the secretive, furtive hints about free parking, I think you might need to adjust your numbers for the folks prepared to ante-up.
