I said this at the half and that was identical to the Illinois game through and through.

At some point when you can't win or finish 1 damn game away from the RAC you have
To be concerned about game day coaching or ability to get your team focused on what you need to do to play.
Not under control or mature, young team of not.
Other teams seem to know what they gave to do yo execute. Rutgers panics. Which if they hadn't been 7 and 3 and 15 and 5 I would get.
How does Harper, Johnson, and Baker all just disappear of late?

Oh that's right. Geo's tired for having played so much... /s

We might not make the dance. Chokejob

why? We just lost to the #9 team in the country on the road. If this knocks us out of tournament we were never in it.

we all thought today was an L but because we hung tough and fought hard to make it a game with a couple chances to win we are all going to pounce on the guys. We are young and on the road. This is what you g teams do. We will get it...Northwestern is the biggest game of the yer

Offseason to do:
1. increase on court IQ. Team has severely regressed in this area in last 3 games.
2. practice shooting. and when done practice more.
3. develop toughness to overpower around the rim. the weightlifting program should help here.

This team has potential, but is just in a sophomore slump funk. Unknown when they will snap out of it, but Northwestern game is a start. That is now an MUST win.
The number one need is recruiting shooters to replace Yeboah,Carter and Kiss.

Trying to keep perspective here. MD is ranked #9 for a reason. They’re undefeated at home just like RU. Frustrating because this one was there for the taking.

they did review it. Foot was on line
On the last shot we took, OUT OF A TIMEOUT, you take the ball to the basket, drive to score, and then look to foul. That's coaching school 101. Not one coach who's any good has his kid do what Caleb did out of time out. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. And I've said it a million times before. Geo is a mid level D1 player. If he doesn't play at Michigan we probably win, and if Young gets his minutes tonight we probably win this one also. I know everyone likes him but he's just not that good.

This was hard to watch. No true outside shooters and no strong presence in the paint. Honestly, maybe this team peaked and is spent. Who knows, but this isn't the same team the past couple weeks. They play great defense, have to give them that. And they never quit. But this game was a win if you play smart basketball and hit your shots. Horrible game management by the coach and team down the stretch.

Wrong - not coaching. It is on the players.

I rooting for you guys. Seemed like the moment was a little too big for your #22 the last couple minutes.

We just run no plays to get Yeboah open in that matter I don't think we run any plays

That ship sailed with one ship remaining and a need for a big. Better hope the kids from Sweden and North Carolina can shoot else we are in a world of trouble next year too.

Things we learned tonight: Yeboah is the best shooter he needs to be in more and shoot more
Our guards are taller than B1G guards but our centers are shorter than B1G centers so need to feed the guards instead of Myles
Can’t shoot 3s late need to go inside

oh wait we already learned these things in all the other close losses yet Pike seems not to havep

I’m sick. Pikiell calls a timeout as an injured player is supposed to head to the free throw line for a 1 and 1 opportunity only to not call a timeout down 1 with 50 secs left, etc

No obviously out of the timeout he didn't tell them to go for 2 that is bad coaching and he should have called a timeout when Caleb forced the drive the first time
How many times were out 2s blocked? Drives in the lane where fouls were not called? You think they might call a foul on Maryland then? Also.. it is quicker to take the 3.. I just cannot believe no black shorts tried to rebound that miss
