Nicely done Phil! Why couldn’t Christie ever understand the pride thing?

Just look at him and there is your answer.

[LoyalSonOfRutgers]

Because Christie is a ND fan AND cowboys fan. He was a disgrace and should shut his fat mouth about Rutgers.

[ScarletCrimson]

Well done, Murph

[Mr. Magoo1]

Murphy is a blow hole.

Glad the Gov got involved but I wish his statement said “...Rutgers student-athletes, alumni, and fans” and the state of NJ “deserve a top-flight program...”. Someone needs to help unite this state on its state university.

[OTBOTOR]

Phil should be the next AD (lol)

[masice520]

Not a fan of his politics but will certainly always be appreciative of his role in this. Well done.

[RU#1fan]

Big fan of Governor Murphy.
Thanks for supporting RU Football !

[REDRICH65]

Right now I don’t care that he’s a Democrat. If I lived in Jersey he’d have my vote.

[Knight177lb]

It sounds as though he gets it. Rutgers Football will unite the state.

Yes but I have to say in his statement earlier in the day during his press conference he did say it was a source of Jersey Pride which is amazing p

[ATIOH]

I commend him, but he is fishing for votes.

Supporting the state university = fishing for votes.

Standard practice everywhere else, but a novel concept in NJ. It’s progress @Knight Shift .

Well he IS a politico...pandering is all THOSE people do...but at least he seems to understand that you cannot continue the current path of being a complete joke!

[bigmatt718]

Murphy is a blow hole.

Who's complaining as long as hes an ally to RU?

[Scarlet_Scourge]

This says it all
