Putting aside whether he has interest or not. I'm not normally one who prefers the route of CEO type coach but it's not the resume of x/os so to speak as to why you'd hire Hafley at this point in his career. It'd be because you think he could be a "poor man's" Dabo type coach or something like Orgeron too.Not even a sole coordinator, much less one of the best. Good call. Next idea?
I think it's easier to do the CEO type thing with a program with more resources but it's for that "it" factor and personality that you might want Hafley at this point in his career not that you think he's going to out scheme anyone etc...The personality to lead, attract recruits, assistants etc...and he does get high marks and that kind of stuff throughout his career in college/NFL.
