Fire Hobbs. Hire Schiano.
Hobbs remains just an amateur. What a clown show of a coach search. He's stumbling and bumbling, groping like blind man. This will not end well for Rutgers.

A few weeks ago, I felt that Hobbs is going to get canned just because of the notion that softball players came to him multiple times complaining of abuse, and apparently not much was done.....in 2019. On paper, that sounds 50 times worse than what Pernetti was forced out for not doing.

Is the person who created this petition 12 years old? A picture of a clown, and an unsubstantiated accusation that Pat Hobbs "sabotaged" the hire of Greg Schiano? Grow up.

Not a shot at you at all — your characterization of the petition was spot on and priceless.
Disregarding my feelings towards Hobbs at the moment.
Ash's performance did not seem to matter until Hobbs felt some pressure building.
Hobbs was a political hire. How else does a Big Ten school hire two ADs in a row with ZERO football background.
As a political hire.. I doubt his performance in football.. which should be at least 60% of his job at the Big Ten school... I doubt his performance matters. He'd rather not give up any control to a man who knows what has to be done. He can do better.. he can save Rutgers Football... and if he doesn't.. no big deal. He was a political hire. The politics have not changed.

We don't need to agree on the petition or whether firing Hobbs is a good idea. We are here to discuss and debate these things.
Not a political hire, unless you consider the University counsel's recommendation political. But go on . . . . .
Is it not true that the very biggest donors could demand Hobbs step down? Even if they don’t care about the opinions of rank-and-file fans, At some point Losing big donors that are depended upon would add up.
I for one can take constructive criticism. Unlike, Patrick Hobbs.
