Thought it was interesting to see how the "oldtimers" did. In general, not too well, with the notable exceptions of 61-year old Bernhard Langer shooting -1 and 61-year old Sandy Lyle shooting +1. Here are a few other scores...

Yes, Phil would be the oldest major winner ever at 48 and 10 months, Julius Boros, at 48 and 4 months is currently the oldest major winner ever; Old Tom Morris was 46; Jack's Masters win in 1986 gives him 3rd place as he was also 46.

realized the date was 6 years ('93) before the crash . I'm no autograph or memorabilia collector but this is one I always liked and kept. He was a really nice guy.
I'm a VERY average golfer but at least I have proof I inspired Tiger Woods Masters Sunday outfit choice LOL.

Really? I dont see it as much of a problem. I feel like most guys know when to hang it up, and for those that don't the committee will whisper in their ear (or send one of those "how about you focus on the par 3 next year" letters).

Those former players have no effect on who gets in or who doesn't. The Masters is an invitational. There is no hard cap on the field size. I think it's a great tradition along with the Champions Dinner. Love it

Well, the radar only shows showers in the immediate Augusta area, so hopefully they'll be over in the next hour and the players can finish their rounds, but mesoscale events like instability-driven showers are extremely hard to predict.

Dude, I'm torn. I'm a big Tiger fan, but I haven't missed a Spring game in mayb 20 years. I don't even know when the Spring games started. With great weather tomorrow, terrific tailgates at Spankys in the yellow and Olde Queens Island in the Scarlet lot, I have to go, plus I'm going to go in early and get some pics with Ray Rice,Kenny Britt and the rest of the RU former stars.
AND, I will try not to hear who is doing what at the Masters and watch it as soon as I get home on the DVR or the Golf Channel replay.
If it was Sunday, I might pass on the Scrimmage, but it's 'moving day', so will be in front of the TV all day Sunday.

I think Tiger is going to do it. If he makes even half those short ones he missed, he'd be up by 4. His driving and approaches are back. He's healthy , and I just have that feeling he's going to win it . Fabulous Leaderboard too. Could be some delays with bad weather the rest of the weekend in Augusta.

Tee to green, Tiger is playing insanely well. He could easily be at -10. Hopefully, he can find something with the putter before tomorrow. Hard to imagine he's going to keep missing every putt from 5-10 feet.

Unlikely that leaderboard stays that bunched after tomorrow. A couple of those guys are going to go real low and separate.

For that reason, unlikely guys like Spieth and Rory have a chance despite being within six of seven of the lead unless they shoot 64 or better.

There's Koepka again. Has to be the betting favorite from here.

He was probably wearing sneakers instead of real golf shoes (w rubber cleats). On a wet course, slipping and falling very easy to do with rubber bottom sneakers.

Exactly, Tiger Fever at 103.5 degrees already.

Love the standings that show 5 at minus 7 and then only Woods T minus 6. Forgetting the other 3 guys there including Schaflie (sp) who shot 2 strokes better than woods round 2.
