Smart move by Willard. Whitehead was good.Yeah tiny Morton to get Whitehead. It saved his job. Sometimes people do whatever it takes.

Willard did not break any rules. He also made four straight NCAA appearances. You would take that result in a heart beat. .
Convicted? No. Never convicted.

+1Ummm...
"According to Yahoo Sports, an ASM balance sheet titled “Loan to Players” listed Whitehead as receiving $26,136 during his freshman year at Seton Hall in 2014-15. Another document listed Whitehead as receiving $37,657 and mentioned that he was 'setting up payment plan'.
Also listed in the documents is a $9,500 loan from the agency to former Seton Hall assistant Tiny Morton. Morton, who coached Whitehead at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, joined Seton Hall's program with Whitehead for his freshman season of 2014-15 before returning to the high school ranks."
Should I post the Stripes video again? No. Never convicted.

Whitehead didn't leave until after his sophomore season, correct? Should I post the Stripes video again? No. Never convicted.

You don't know what you're talking about. There is absolutely no truth that Willard or SHU made any payments for Whitehead. If Whitehead did indeed receive paid benefits while he was enrolled at SHU, it came from a sports agent.
You're a bitter Rutgers' fan who can't stand that Rutgers has not made the NCAA since 1991, and has not won a game in the Tournament since 1989. Has it really been 14 years since it had a winning Season? To mask your bitterness and envy, you find the need to denigrate SHU whichhad moderate success over the years. This Board has a lot of good and knowledgeable posters, but you are not one of them.
I was pulling for Powell because he is a fighter. I also like how the team is made up of a lot of kids from around the region.
Still, I find it perplexing how Carino predicts this i this team could make a final four push next year.
After two first round knockouts, and the team saying " We didn't know they were that good."
I am not knocking them. I just find the predictions not based on past history to be weird.
Pretty sad record. They sold their soul, did crooked stuff, bribed recruits by hiring family members and coaches, and all for what? One meaningless NCCA win. They didn't have a 1st Round knockout last year.
They lost in Rd 2 to Kansas-----in Wichita.

I stand with Willard, Sean Miller, Will Wade, etc. They are the victims! No way could they have known these nefarious agents were paying their kids to attend their schools with the same sneaker affiliations. These agents were as stealth as MI-6. Sneaky bastards!
And I am (very) envious of SHU's run these past four years. No question.
It’s so dumb to talk negatively about Seton Hall coming from a Rutgers position. We have not done anything in forever. We have not been 500 in forever. All we have is hope and nothing else. They go dancing and many of us are just ButtHurt and resolve to talking crap about their coach and program. All the while we are always in last place or very near the cellar. Seton Hall we be loaded again next year and will come to Piscataway and probably win. Stop hating and focus on our program to talk about the Hall when we traditionally suck is just dumb.
[roll]SHU’s 2016-2018 success was 100% based on cheating. This year was coaching. They lucked out playing in a **** big east. Imo if RU was in the big east we’d be dancing this year. AWFUL conference this year
I mean lets be realistic. Was SHU landing the big 4 today with the new rules put in place to eradicate cheating? The answer is no[roll]
