not much about the game except to mention turnovers......more of a season recap to stress positives

He is definitely smooth. "Couldn't defend the free throw line." Well played by coach without overtly calling out all the calls afforded Palmer nor blaming the loss on it.
Yeah, I have to agree with all that, very frustrating playing Palmer and Langford of IU as their game is predicated on getting into traffic, initiating contact, going to the line. Saw it against Minnesota too, remember that one where he jumped into a defender to get to the line for the game winning FTs? He did very well in live ball situations tonight though.

On yet the other hand, fouls were 26-13... were we playing that more physical than they were... nope. Tough when you have to finish your drives through contact with no calls and the opponent gets to go to the line after they seek you out on drives. Messes with your head on offense. Refs knew Nebraska basically had 3 guys and once 2 of them got in a little bit of foul trouble, they put the whistles away; either consciously or subconsciously, they knew that putting any of their 3 on the bench would effectively end the game.

With that said, RU deserved to lose, live ball turnovers were the culprit, so I agree with him there too. Even when RU was up 5 for much of the 2nd half they weren't playing well.

I agree with everything regarding how the game was called, but you are correct.. our play wasn't what it should have been. I'd love to feel like we was robbed.. but we were accomplices to the crime.

I really subdued post game. Palmer absolutely took over in the final minutes

But I commend coach "P"
He did a LOT with 4 frosh that MANY here said early on would tank
But 3 losses is NOT the way anyone wants to end a season:cry:

overall I think we have a solid coach who will recruit solid players
...........................[thumb2]I still love the guy[thumb2].......................................

We did not get the calls that Nebraska got. They earned most of them, but some they didn’t.

We were 3 and 5, and finished 3 and 7 last 10 games. Plus that mess last night to finish. 3 and 8.

Sitting tied for 9th, 1 win from 10th lock, and crapshow against a very shorthanded team.

Slept great. Still freaking pissed.

The stink from this one will linger for awhile. Plenty of blame to go around but at the end of the day, its on Pike. He owns the program, the good and the bad. You can't tell me we looked like a well coached team last night.

The game was poorly played by both teams.Nebraska won because they have a go to scorer in Palmer and Rutgers doesn't have one player that comes close to his consistent scoring.
