Since a game is not scheduled, at 3:30 p.m., do a one hour re-enactment of the Princeton/Rutgers game at High Point, show a condensed version of the Rutgers-Louisville 2006 game on the Big Screen and cap the event off with fireworks.
No, they'll set up an information booth at the First Game Statue, followed by an alumni meet & greet at the new Rutgers Club and a tour of Winants Hall. Standard RU ******** event. That’s funny, plan our own event?
Curling maybe
:scream: that's very lame, so Rutgers may do it.Since a game is not scheduled, at 3:30 p.m., do a one hour re-enactment of the Princeton/Rutgers game at High Point, show a condensed version of the Rutgers-Louisville 2006 game on the Big Screen and cap the event off with fireworks.
Doug my friend. The B1G is really being kind to RU. They don't want us to have a LOSS on that Historic Day.That is the weekend college football will be at its apex for the 150th anniversary of the first college football game between Rutgers and Princeton. Princeton will celebrate with a game Dartmouth at Yankee Stadium. Meanwhile, Rutgers has a BYE WEEK, really? Either Rutgers is asleep at the wheel, or the B1G really hates us.
The '06 game was one Helluva BDAY present.Nov. 9 - my birthday (not 150 yrs old...).
In 2006, the same day in November, we beat Louisville in pandemonium in Piscataway!
Indiana is also on a bye 11/9.The only possibility is to move the Michigan game to 11/9 as they also have an opening that day...yay...
How does playing at Michigan make sense?Indiana has us scheduled as their homecoming game next year. Might be tough to do.
Michigan makes a ton of sense.
I think you forgot the part where the 1st College game ever was played on Rutgers campus. Not in Ann Arbor, Michigan. All time wins leader vs. team who hosted first ever game?
Makes sense to me
Harbaugh would block it, just to be a dickObviously flip the game to Home for us as someone earlier mentioned. We would go to Michigan in 2020 and 2021
BOTH are a strong possibility. That is the weekend college football will be at its apex for the 150th anniversary of the first college football game between Rutgers and Princeton. Princeton will celebrate with a game Dartmouth at Yankee Stadium. Meanwhile, Rutgers has a BYE WEEK, really? Either Rutgers is asleep at the wheel, or the B1G really hates us.
BOTH are a strong possibility.
We now know this is not true. Ash had a clue about it. He just doesn’t think it’s very important.Rutgers asleep at wheel.Ash has no clue about it and Barchi dont care.
We have a friend who worked in Human Resources at some Corporate companies, left to have her baby and raise her for a couple years. Decided to get back into the work force and got a job at Rutgers Human Resource department. She left after 6 months and said it was the most dysfunctional place she's ever worked at. She's back in the Corporate world.
This is a complete clusterf&$k! How is it possible we blew this? Someone needs to pay here. Most of the idiots on this board could have figured out we needed to play a home game that day and have a weekend of events planned.
We now know this is not true. Ash had a clue about it. He just doesn’t think it’s very important to, or that it resonates much with, recruits or current players.
