We need to be recruiting 2019 guys.
Why can't we do both? Didn't realize you had to do either one or the other.
You can’t be serious. We need to be recruiting 2019 AND 2020 AND 2021 guys. Recruiting multiple classes is a part of every recruiting plan. It’s silly to only recruit one class.
I understand RickB's point here. Of course, we need to be recruiting 20 &21 etc, however, this last 2019 schollie (for now) is so crucial. We missed on Hyatt/Massoud so we need to find a similar caliber guy and the clock is ticking and we cannot afford to settle here. So I get it RickB...we need to secure this kid and the urgency to find the right kid!!
Exactly and of course it is both. I just haven’t heard anything about 2019 kids. I also assume they are recruiting 2019 kids. We just aren’t hearing about it.
Pike and staff recruit very quietly, in my opinion. They also work hard and it seems like they have a very good recruiting plan. This is a really important scholarship (or two if there is a transfer). So I have to conclude that they are recruiting hard for 2019 without a ton of fanfare.
