We certainly aren’t remotely NY’s team.
Guarantee you, Syracuse is far more popular in NY than us right now.

That doesn't vary on a yearly basis. We have more alums in the city, end of story.

No, I dont care...lolWho cares....lol
Syracuse playing ND in a meaningful game in our own backyard, while we’re stink to high heaven.

Ok
Are we metro area?NYC or the metro area doesn't care about college football .......
That said I hope Sadexcuse ends ND's playoff chances
They have earned it, but it's more about weak' a jo b schedule and NBC. UCF fans were pumped for Temple game. They'll bring a great atmosphere. ESPN already did South Bend this year. With game being home ND game, I'm sure ESPN hates feeding NBC. If it was Cuse home game on Disney, its a no brainerNot better than #3 and # 12 teams playing but UCF hasnt lost in two years and Cincy is 8-1. They earned it. Plus ND's affliation with NBC.
Everyone takes notice of a once-every-100-years eventAre we metro area?
If so, you obviously weren’t around in 2006
I assume that means if Rutgers wasn’t so incompetent and could manage to maintain a level of excellence and relevance, we’d be pretty popular around here!!Everyone takes notice of a once-every-100-years event

I think Rutgers would be popular, but in a pro town you need to create events. Consistent winning will provide the right base line. RU has a legit fan base. Need to have the ranked matchup. If RU is ranked when #4 Michigan comes to town, campus is electric all week. Things like Gameday happen. Tickets are a commodity. Look at BC-Clemson last week. That should happen at Rutgers every few years with BIG opponents.I assume that means if Rutgersn wasn’t so incompetent and could manage to maintain a unlllll of excellence and relevance, we’d be pretty popular around here!!
Canada's team you mean
Correction Zap - I meant to say that Syracuse has only one win over an FBS team in 2018 with a winning record and with ND and BC coming up that may be all they do get this year.
Granted Babers has done a nice job but they also fell into a very favorable schedule this year. 5 of their wins are against teams in the dumper this year...UNC (1-8), Wagner(3-7), UCONN (1-9) , Florida State (4-6 after tonight) and Louisville (2-8).
