Again going with Blackshear. Not understanding this one bit.
Tell the whole story. Rutgers was able to run the ball last year. This year Ash handcuff the run game by forcing Blackshear down the offense's throat in the second half.We played this same game against Purdue last year. Gio did nothing. Defense won it.
It better come out that Pacheco had some sort of injury and that's why he got only one touch in the 2nd half.
This is on McNulty not Ash. His personnel and play calling was abysmal. Also, players are just not mentally strong (perhaps youth) and they lack focus and concentration.I'm truly speechless at the ineptitude of our coaching staff right now. The force feeding of Blackshear while getting away from the hot hand in Pacheco is astonishingly idiotic. I've never seen it in college football before. Usually you ride the hot hand till he breaks a leg.Damn I’m not even a fan and this coaching staff is pissing me off with the absence of #10!!!! 6 carries for 66 yards and TD in first half. One carry in the second half. Wow!!!!!!
its unbelievable how bad they are... We can get on Art all you want but his crew certainly isn't helping them. The worst WR unit in the history of CFB. All stone hands
Nor can they get themselves open! The worst WR unit in the history of CFB. All stone hands
That's all it takes, but for us asking the world. This game was lost because The QB COULD NOT MAKE ONE PLAY OF IMPORTANCE! WHY DOES HE STILL PLAY!
Took a few tries, but I finally got it, thanks alot.Turn off and then turn it on. Works every time
Not Ash. Former PSUer McNulty. He calls plays and personnel. It better come out that Pacheco had some sort of injury and that's why he got only one touch in the 2nd half.
I would just hope for no injury and Ash looks looks like a dumbass again.
There are no moral victoriesLets be honest guys. This was a moral victory. No one thought we could keep it this close PLUS we saw some emotion from HCCA. I think he has earned at least two more seasons to get his players to their senior year.
The worst WR unit in the history of CFB. All stone hands
Don't care who it's on. If I was the head coach I'd yell right at McNulty, "give it to the fvcking guy who ran it for 66yds. on 9 carries and a TD in the 1st half you idiot". Not the kid who didn't even get a chance to warm up. One play in the 2nd half someone's got some explaining to doThis is on McNulty not Ash. His personnel and play calling was abysmal. Also, players are just not mentally strong (perhaps youth) and they lack focus and concentration.
You realize QBs can’t pass the ball to themselves right? Plenty of dropped balls today. This game was lost because The QB COULD NOT MAKE ONE PLAY OF IMPORTANCE! WHY DOES HE STILL PLAY!
No the game was lost because the staff ****** up the chemistry and let a player who just came from a personal situation take over from a player who was wearing down NW with his punishing and angry mentality. That's all it takes, but for us asking the world.
There are WRs on the bench that can catch. Not sure why they don't see the fieldThe worst WR unit in the history of CFB. All stone hands
If a non-fan can see this, why the hell can’t our coaches??No the game was lost because the staff ****ed up the chemistry and let a player who just came from a personal situation take over from a player who was wearing down NW with his punishing and angry mentality.
We have been told several times by a few posters on here we should keep quiet and let the professionals do their job. Even Stevie Wonder could see the BS this staff is feeding the public. They are lost and don't want to admit they are clueless. No the game was lost because the staff ****ed up the chemistry and let a player who just came from a personal situation take over from a player who was wearing down NW with his punishing and angry mentality.

Unless McNulty was doing it on purpose to move things along. This is on McNulty not Ash. His personnel and play calling was abysmal. Also, players are just not mentally strong (perhaps youth) and they lack focus and concentration.

Still not the reason. The QB could not make one play using athletic ability.....scramble, find a throwing lane, stop locking in on receivers, stop throwing into the D-line. Even with drops (a couple will happen every game regardless), the best passing play of the day CANNOT be a 7 yr. Button hook to the TE. Sorry, need better from your starting QB. Put him on the bench. You realize QBs can’t pass the ball to themselves right? Plenty of dropped balls today.
Does Blackshear have embarrassing photos of Ash?
If Pacheco wasn’t hurt then that was strange to take him out and rely on Blackshear in the 2nd half.
Have you ever played football. This is not the NFL where you have equal depth. You don’t have depth and players get tired. 4 straight 3and outs. You can’t ask your defense to keep doing that and they not wear down. You needed first downs and you had a running back that was averaging 6.3 yard per carry, and also ran for the biggest play you have had this season. Rutgers lost this game.Plenty of blame to go around. No pass rush when they needed it (DC could try blitz). Lack of QB production. Dropped passes (6?). penalties.
The non stop 3 and outs in 2 nd half killed the D. They got shredded in 4th qtr
All I know it's a coach who is responsible for this mess.Ash or McNulty?
Ash is spending more time with the defense.
Would assume McNulty even more incharge of the OC?
Remember, he is the "best coach on staff".
Can you read? Maybe the last sentence where your arguing my point that the 3 and outs killed the D.Have you ever played football. This is not the NFL where you have equal depth. Doug have you ever seen anything like this in your life? I'm truly perplexed. Unless Pacheco had some serious injury. I've never seen a team deliberately get away from the hot hand with 1 carry in the 2nd half and instead force feed a kid who didn't even get to warm up. I'm speechless. All I know it's a coach who is responsible for this mess.
