All I'm going to say is politics in football is common. I have to believe it played a role today.

Yea that was me at the 1st sighting of Blackshear. I said the Football God's are on our side today.(after review not overturned) Now we'll screw it up back to pounding Blackshear again. Seriously I was joking at the time. Now I'm beyond furious.

Not CFB related but I heard alot of people picking Barkley as NFL rookie of the year due to team politics.

The Giants front office needs to justify the #2 pick so they would force him the ball as much as possible to put up stats.

And he has to have the ability to make things happen too. Move around a little to help your receivers get some space or run to keep the defense honest. Every downfield intermediate pass is like threading a needle.

Yeah, abysmal may have been too strong. Plays were there to be had but kids did not follow through. They have to learn that their only chance is 110% on every play. The mental lapses look like a function of youth that has not yet registered that.

It seems like if the narrative doesn’t fit the fire ash camp they can’t spesk the truth. Truth is NW came in here on a roll offensively and everyone expected nothing but the same. Coach takes over play calling and after giving them them present of the ball on our 40 clamps down hard the rest of the way. I would say a big improvement. Now I’m not saying he should win coach of the year. Let’s see how they play the next few games right? But let’s stop trying to fit a narrative. D played very well and yes he called the plays. First play didn’t go for 6 and u shouldn’t be rooting for that. Too many people in that camp. Just keep it real. D played well this week, give him a bit of credit and u can hammer away again if they get trashed in 2 weeks. If they don’t maybe give him a bit more credit? Imagine that? A civil thought out response that wasn’t pre-determined
