Humorously enough, I thought after the fumble recovery that even if we could somehow master the 2 1/2 minute offense (from the Maryland 20) what kind of spark would that be? we would still be losing 24 to 7. We would still be down three scores.

Then of course Sakowski threw an interception on the first play.

I mean, doesn't that sort of explain the attendance thing for them?

You’d think but I’m wondering what denial-ridden excuse they come up with. I can’t wait to see what the justification for keeping this charade going will be.

Announcer just said if Maryland scores again, it will be a uphill climb for Rutgers...lmao...it will be a miracle if we score 3 points. How do they do this with straight faces?

We have let up at least 24 points by the 2nd quarter in every f******* game we’ve played this year except the opener.

Somebody PLEASE try to defend that.

Joe P.

Why would anyone try to defend it? They’re the worst team in the country

Our games are great training ground for interns to learn the pollyannish ways of broadcasting to keep viewers' interest.

The book on AS is longer in the section on what he doesn't do than what he should be doing. It's no learning curve, just a flat line with a few disconnects.

Just checked in and see UMD already covered ... QB completed 4 passes for 8 yards ... glad I’m not watching the game.

I just walked in from doing farm work. Looks like all I missed was a lot of frustration. I'll be heading out again soon. Thanks for making Rutgers football unwatchable Chris Ash. Good job, DOUCHE.

Sit has shown flashes- not today of course- that he has potential and it's up to our OC to simplify things greatly for him like he did for awhile last week

About the only positive is that the Maryland quarterback overthrows or underthrows his receivers at least 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, of course, he has thrown touchdowns. But, nevertheless, that could have been something we could have exploited.

Johnathan Lewis is just a human like all of us. He was the best QB in NJ HS football. What do you think he is thinking now seeing Sit stay ahead of him game after game. I feel so bad. A real Jersey kid but he wishes he went somewhere else, he’d be killing it at an AAC or MAC school and maybe be in the mix somewhere else.

Unreal if this guy gets another year. Hobbs, figure it out.... get him out of here... there’s no vision or 6 year plan when you can’t coach and can’t recruit. Enough.

If Gio plays the 2nd half that tells me we have no QB in the program.

Having said that, if I’m Ash I’m starting Gio in the 2nd half. Ouch.

When do the "FOR SALE" signs start showing up on his front lawn?

We even got a favorable redshirt rule interpretation from the NCAA, and after seeing Art **** the bed the 1st 4 games of the season, the coaches decided to just ride it out with their guy.

Gio must be mad as hell being put in these awful situations each time. What is supposed to do down 30 each game when the team has already given up?

On the bright side the worse we play each week makes it more difficult for Ash to keep his job.

Somehow Lewis isn’t good enough to play QB for this team, or even get a chance to.
