Was kinda hoping Trey Sneed would step up and be the 3rd RB .
He had fantastic offers coming out of Florida : UNC, Louisville, Utah, Georgia Tech, UCF, Duke, Navy, Wake Forest, etc.
Let’s see.
Perhaps the better move is to then wait for it to happen and call them out, by name and quote, at that time instead of generalizing. The “know-it-all’s” generally out themselves by getting offended by the post and feeling the need to respond directly to the post in which they are inferred...I only use that term because there are a select few on the board who can’t stand a minority opinion without making the poster feel like a retard (hate using that word)
Yeah, Hanz and Franz are older.
Sitkowski has an NFL-ready frame.

Now, lets hope he puts it all together.
O, boo hoo hoo. The Rutgers guy's are beating me up. Go cry to McAndrew or Lubrano about it. You're just pissed because they don't have any banning privileges over here to protect you. Come up with dumb stuff, you get beat up, everyone does. Be a psu fan and disguise yourself as an RU fan with just an alternative view point(clever by the way), you get beat up. Now go find your safe space on the psu dysfunctional board. The “line of thinking” is based on personal experience, when you have someone who has a minority opinion you typically get the response like the one quoted below \/ \/ as opposed to the more debating response quoted above
Yeah, the OL doesn’t get mentioned a lot when talking about Ray’s time here. Two very good lines in 2005 and 2006. And still really solid in 2007.Ray's vision and patience is what made him so good. That OL didn't hurt either.
Agreed. Let’s all stop being a holes to our QBs. That includes the likes Gio . Let’s get behind these great kids . Our job is to root for them to do well and win. Let the coaches make decisions and coach the players.Yes and let’s hope our fans treat him better than they did Teel, Savage and Nova not to mention others who were less successful.
Not my style to call anyone out by name except the one poster I have on ignore that likes to troll everyone Of my comments so I hear...Perhaps the better move is to then wait for it to happen and call them out, by name and quote, at that time instead of generalizing.
Oh wow I didn’t know I was crying about how I’m being treated...Apparently pointing out minority opinion = crying...good to knowO, boo hoo hoo. The Rutgers guy's are beating me up. i agree, but we are dealing with ash. martin, hicks? Will never happen. This kid is gonna be a stud running back and you don't move stud running backs to defense.

You and a few others on this witch hunt for fake Rutgers fans is getting old...

He isn’t starting over Hillman and Blacksheer...Pacheco might wind up starting by mid season. No way do you move him.
GO RU

If Parker can pack some weight on him , DT.How about Sitkowski to TE? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
There is still 4 weeks before 1st game for starters to be determined. He isn’t starting over Hillman and Blacksheer...

You got to be a complete bachagaloop to think that this kid is getting moved to defense this season. There are some who think he may be the next great running back here on the banks - he definitely has the tools - and people here already talking about moving him to defense? SMDH
BTW - it doesn’t take a “know-it-all” to figure this out, just somebody who pays attention, that’s all!
Lots of posters already not believing in Pacheco but he will be the man here in a few years.I posted here in may/june that I ran into a dude I know who coached high school football in south jersey
He told me RU got a special player in Pacheco and he was as sincere as can be

We have had players move back and forth from Offense to Defense to help fill position voids and they have shown to be true team players . If Safety depth becomes an issue it’s not out of the question.
Hicks and Harris were different situations. They weren't living up to their billing at the original positions as far as this staff was concerned.
Pacheco is in a much different category. Plus if someone was really needed you'd look at Snorweah or one of the WRs down on the depth chart to move.
Was not 8 or 9 years ago, but Jawuan Harris moved to DB after playing WR and did well.True Frosh does not have a “billing” to live up to. With 2 proven FBS RBs in front of him he probably won’t see much playing time in Year One. We might need help at Safety early on.
Trying to think of a WR who was playing well but moved to the Secondary and did real well. Was about 8 or 9 years ago.

I guess we disagree here on Pacheo. He'll play a more prominent role as the season wears on. I believe Ash has already said this in interviews. Ball security is one thing holding him back but that's to be expected with a true freshman.
Additionally, what makes anyone certain that Hilliman is going to find his old form? Everyone's writing him in as a sure thing but he's not. I really doubt he's going to be as productive as Gus Edwards.
While I'm high on Blackshear he was a true freshman himself last year. So he needs to show that he can carry the load. I think he'll put to rest the concerns about his size and the combination of Pacheo & him will be dangerous.

Mason Robinson..?Was not 8 or 9 years ago, but Jawuan Harris moved to DB after playing WR and did well.
Great strength too. Perhaps someone can post the clip where he stiff armed Selvie into the ground.and balance...remember many times he was low, put his arm/hand down on the turf and kept going....
I’m well aware that people have moved positions before. Thanks.
So why do you disparage people who suggest that Pacheco might shift to Safety initially ?
There have plenty of players who contributed while making the switch from O to D.
Mason Robinson and Peele to DB [ before he royally screwed up his career with bad decision making]
+1. I don’t think people realize how much of a talent Gus Edwards was last season. Hope I’m wrong but I don’t see the same production coming out of Hillman.

Short bio.It was 8 years ago.
I was referring to Ruhann Peele who moved from WR to CB.
Played well but threw it all away with criminal activity. Last I read he was trying to comeback at Division 2 Football after straightening himself out.
