Welcome to the Banks, young man. i look forward to cheering for you for the next four years!
Big pick up by the staff....multiple positions in backcourt....can play point, can shoot, can pass and 6'5 with arm length....much needed strength will be added, but skills are undeniable and 3 point range.....Rang up 30 in AAU against some solid competition within the last year.....
I am not certain the other 2 spots will be filled, unless they are both grad transfers that cycle right off the scholarship count with Shaq Doorson after this season....I'm not saying we are carrying just 11 players, but anything other than Aundre Hyatt falling out of the sky for RU and reclassification would be it for me.....find some depth as a grad spot.....and this is a legitimate prospect folks, don't be fooled by the lack of press on this one........

I’m excited about this kid. Really hope we can get a grad transfer to help at PG now. Save the other ship for 2019.
Sit out transfers are also in play...
Great pickup, another player that can shot it and has nice length.
With 2 spots, I would say we could use a PG with some more speed and quickness that can help in the transition game or penetrating into the lane...... but NJH will go on a 500 word response about how it does not matter.

Without having any idea who we might be talking about, just don't like taking sit out transfers anymore. The grad transfer rule has made sit out transfers much less attractive.
Why would Rich publish a story, with quotes from the kid, if it was not correct?

Got an email from The Other Site issued about 8:30 but as watching the playoffs and just got it. So both sites are reporting it. Caleb sounds like a good, confident kid who likes the idea of signing on to an overlooked program and helping them to rise up. We should not expect too much too soon, but he will hit the floor working. looking at the solid kid he is and his skill set, the staff has hit the mark with thin guy.

McConell has potential to make Rutgers basketball more fun in the different way he plays the game. We see better basketball next year with more team chemistry. I look forward to it!
