OT: Potential Winter Storm on 3/7-8

Absolute pouring rain in Fair Haven, eastern Monmouth county. The pouring rain has found an opening in my skylight in my sunroom and I have a solid leak coming down.
Anyone know a good roofer/skylight contractor in the area?

Ever since we bought this house it’s been nothing but issues.

I'd say about an inch in SB, can still see the sidewalk through the snow in front of the house. It's slowed down too from earlier, don't know how much is actually accumulating from what's falling. It'll really have to pick up consistently to get those high amounts beyond 5-6 inches to remove IMO.

Still just rain in Manchester. Work was closed so it must be a lot different in Freehold or will he later today and night. We did just have thunder here,though

Seems like alot of rain mixed in now in Pway. Gonna keep totals down. Leaving the gym now and the cars had more snow on them half hour ago

yeah as I was saying before...the snow is sticking but seems like its compacting and melting somewhat rather than just stacking up on top of itself..just so wet...so its going to be hard to get accurate measurements on how much exactly fell

Welcome to home ownership. We have poured over 50% of the purchase price of our house back in with renovations, but this was a huge gut/rehab job. We just did not think it would cost as much as it did.

Try Wilcox Roofing in Oceanport. My friend in Rumson just used them to fix a leaking flashing on his chimney, and he was very happy (this guy is picky).

Just came in from letting the dog out, this snow is going to be horrible to move, even the non commercial snow blowers will struggle to move this very heavy, very wet snow.
Seems like 7-8 inches already in some spots here in NW Essex County.
Going out again soon to do the first pass , I'll probably wind up doing at least 3-4 passes the way it seems.
Wish I had invested in a much better , self propelled , commercial snow blower now. My $500 homeowners Toro struggles in this.

So much initial sludge i will not even try the snow blower

Most of my clearing is going to be done by 40 plus temperatures the next few days

In freehold area, started to snow at about 12 rather heavy. All rain prior. Prob 2 inches on ground. Sleet from 1-2pm and now back to snow. Heard thunderstorm at about 1230 or so

D'oh! Spoke too soon, as the sleet mixing in certainly hasn't helped ratios (but as I've said many times, I'm a mass guy, not a density guy, lol). For the past hour I did some errands. Went onto Route 1 for a bit, then 287 and both were snow covered and getting bad and local roads in Edison and Metuchen are an adventure.

Back to the snow. About 1:30 pm or so started getting some sleet and then the past 20 minutes have been snow/sleet and surprisingly just moderate in intensity. Looks like that's about to change and hopefully we'll go back to all snow (50/50 now). As of 2:00 pm we have 3" of new snow on the ground, so only 1" the last hour. 3.75" total counting our 3/4" in the morning. And as I'm posting this, it's back to all snow and heavy.
