I really hope Thiam can translate his performance against these bad teams to the Big Ten... Even if it's not until next year. A spot-up 40% three point shooter is a sight for sore eyes even if he can't penetrate.
He needs to be wide open to even take the shot, let alone make it. He has no confidence to shoot the ball when someone is in the same zip code. But when he is open he is as good as anyone in the conference.

It feels like the team thinks the season is over after the Seton Hall game.

“Giving Hartford all they and handle” shouldn’t be a line that we have to say at this point in their development as a team.

After losing to Stony Brook we probably should "reset" our expectations.

Let them back in..this team is so frustrating to watch..becoming pessimistic at being able to get over 500....

Pike should make these guys do 5 push-ups for every missed ft. It’s ridiculous how much they suck at it.

Freeman took a stupid 3 and it went down from there...what is disappointing is how poorly they have been in fundamentals they past two games

Agree. .while there are no world beaters in the Big 10..Rutgers will have to play at a high level and fulleffort to win any league game

Ok, let's assume that this is another one of those games that the team just can't get up for and they needed the first half to wake them up. That would mean I can expect a really dominant second half performance. right!!! Please tell me I'm right!!

Stony Brook lowered my expectations B1G time ... after SHU the team doesn’t look hungry. There are no gimme games.

But they played like this in several OOC games before SHU. This is a recurring theme.

First chance to get to board to check score. All I can say is “Seriously?”

Honestly, RU didn't play well vs SHU....they shot 35% from the field and 22/34 from the FT....that's not exactly playing well.

They got after them defensively and made SHU work in the 2nd half....that effort against every B1G team or most of the season isn't feasible with 8 to 9 players....RU just has to make a couple of additional shots and FT's

Just have to ride this out and wait until Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan State etc...

Why is there absolutely no intensity or even a sense of urgency in these OOC games?

Because our peformance is crap...save the excuses...it starts with the approach from opening tip...such a small margin of error
