McHenry is a POS, probably a racist one at that.. ESPN did right first by suspending her, and then getting rid of her.

Game, Set, Match in your opinion ?

I’d like to see video of Abro1975’s worst moments from the past. Of course that video doesn’t exist.

I’m not the smartest person in the room but I’d never type the above post that Abro1975 just did. If he had any sense then he would regret it or delete it. But my money says that he is too hard wired for that.

My worst moments never approached McHenry's demeaning this minimum wage black woman. I would hope most folks woudn't stoop to this level. She was probably drunk.

Why does she care if GQ picked Kapernik as the Man of the Year?
Protesting is how we make progress. If MLK had listened to her ilk, we would still be second class citizens.
He has courage and has paid a price for that.
I hope he is also Time magazine's Man of the Year.

Lol...if you've ever acted this way before in your life, I'd call you a POS as well.

So if she acted like a jerk to a white person she wouldn't be racist?

Why is person's race even relevant who she was disrespectful to?

Just because someone acts like an *** to a black person doesn't automatically equate to being a racist.....fact of the matter is that she could just be a jerk and has no racial motivation behind her behavior

Seems like you are someone who barks racism without having having any evidence to back it up

I clicked on no links but I'm pretty sure of two things.
Kapernick opted out of a big contract.
If he didn't suck someone would sign him.
Compare his activism to an injury. You have to take that into account. Two similiar players, one with a history of injury vs a healthy guy. Who do you sign?

Tape don’t lie. She’s a POS:

So, years ago, in NYC my car was towed to the tow pound. Classic NYC experience. My wife and I go to the pound, and I am rather amused by the whole thing. The woman behind the counter may have been the same one in Britt's video. She was rather large, and not very pleasant to deal with, maybe she had a bad day dealing with people like Britt all day.

Now, I am a strong believer in being nice to everyone until there is a reason to not be nice. Also, people who have unpleasant jobs probably don't love their job, and I do my best to try to make them feel good about their job. That night, I was in a really good mood despite the inconvenience of being out a couple of hundred bucks because I could not decipher the litany of parking signs on the street I parked on. I was very jovial with the woman behind the 6 inch thick plexiglass, and this woman would not crack a smile and she was quite surly. Maybe she was not used to happy customers or thought I was high or drunk.

That door swings both ways---everyone needs to just mellow out, be happy and not freak out every time there little routine is interrupted by something as trivial as having your car towed to the pound.

In the words of the Beatles:
The love you give, is the love you get. (Maybe most of the time, but not at the NYC tow pound).

In this picture, is she not wearing the most annoying, smug face you've ever seen on a person?

I’d guess that Britt McHenry is trying to get back into a larger role in broadcasting after that horrendous behavior with the parking attendant. Hopefully she apologized for it.

Ironic that some people will receive absolution and even sympathy (ex. Ray Rice) from some of the same posters who will call this chick a POS, racist and more. I’ve never figured out how the scoring system works for these posters.

She was wrong, but you know if the she held left of center beliefs she'd still be at ESPN. And I guess we may as well start every sentence with "you're a racist" as actual racism is no longer a requirement for the accusation.

No, I don't know that. ESPN canned 100 people in May - many of them friends of mine - and some were as you could call them left of center. They're in the process of firing 100 more right now. You're going to claim all of those are right-wing as well? That place is canning folks left and right, of all ages, colors, religions, political beliefs.

There is more to it, but ESPN really started faltering when they decided to become politically active.

How many of the people who care so much about the GQ award even read GQ?

Magazines of all types publish a million and one awards every year, many terrible and undeserved. But sh#t sells copies. I haven't seen GQ get this much hype ... ever.

It's amazing the dumb sh#t people get worked up about (and then act in a way that actually works contrary to that). If you think it's a terrible choice for the award ... maybe go back to ignoring GQ like you were doing before this media-fabricated controversy.

Or keep giving it all kinds of publicity, which is exactly what they wanted. Good job.

I don't know whether she is a racist, but after watching the video, it is clear that she is a real a-hole-and it doesn't matter if that attendant was rude or not. Britt was really obnoxious there, throwing in every nasty comment she could think of in the short exchange. I would fire her for that

Progress by division is NOT progress, it's bad math. And, it's easy to have "courage" when you are not relevant anymore. He is a useless POS, in the minds of most Americans, maybe I should say Patriots.
