This is an absolute disgrace.

THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T GO INTO THE HALF WITH YOUR TAIL BETWEEN YOUR LEGS
I don't think it's tail between your legs when your offense isn't built for said situation. If we were a high powered hurry up offense then yes I'd say tail between your legs but we're the 107th ranked offense in the country last I looked and we don't throw the ball much or well. It's like trying to grind blood of out of stone to a degree.

It's recognizing your limitations and playing the odds of what's the better decision.

You got the ball at the 35, when PSU didn't call a TO after the first play, at least try something.

Thank good Ness someone understands this. Some of these posts are hard to read.

What I think has no bearing on the game and yes, I'm quite happy with the first half. We're still in this game and could easily be tied if we had made a couple of more plays. I prefer to see it as our coaching is keeping this close against a much more talented team, rather than whining about the coaching holding the team back. If you can't see the improvement vs. last year, I don't know what to tell you.
nothing to do with improvement vs last year, we are here today to play. This is winnable, we have the horses to win this game, the coaching will decide if we do. Not a soul alive watching this game is going to blame our performance thus far on talent. If you want to continue to harp on this being a talent issue go ahead but 1 score this deep with us holding the top, yards rushing, total yardage DOES NOT SHOW WE'RE OUTCLASSED ON THE FIELD. Now I won't dispute up and down they are more talented but not enough so we can't win

The best I'd say is try a run and see if you can break one for a long play that might change the dynamics but don't know anything beyond that. But for that opportunity you risk fumble or possible 3 and out and giving them a chance at a possible FG.

Can’t believe some people are declaring the game over already. We may not win. Given the talent gap, probably won’t. But it isn’t a done deal yet.

If somehow PSU loses, Millen will harp on how Barkley actually caught that ball on that drive, and the refs screwed the Nits.

Regroup to what? We basically gave them the best we have, and we’re still losing.

It was not the time nor the team to run the clock out against with 2 timeouts.

Pass D for one. The game had turned in PSU's favor. Ash did exactly what he needed to do.

Love how some think the passing game will magically transform. It is what it is.

BTW I don't consider some of these decisions playing not to lose, I consider it recognizing your best avenue to possibly sneak out a win.

Yes to beat better teams you may have to take risks at times but it doesn't mean every time you're presented with a risky option you need to take it. Again I'll say it's not a hard and fast rule and you play it by ear from game to game and drive to drive even
