This. We should all start hoping our linemen turn into All-Americans. Mediocre backfields perform better with a good line than a poor line, and better QBs and RBs would prefer to sign with a team with a good line (IMO).

Kill's O's at Minny were designed to have a guy like Lewis at QB but, unfortunately, we simply DO NOT have a good OL thanks to poor recruiting under the previous regime.

Cole has played just ok...Miller, Applefield and Seymour not so much...Maietti...Jackson need more time along with Clark, Vretman,Longsdorf,Krimins and Vanesky...all should get many more reps...not saying toss away the season but roll the dice and maybe we find 2-3 who can help...Applefield and Miller have hurt us more than helped...
