I think he did actually mean porchetta....I don't have a generator otherwise I'd rotisserie for 2-3 hrs as I do at home....am curious about his plan. that's not an especially tailgate - friendly dish.

I've never made porchetta myself, but it is something I have wanted to try.

(I knew he meant pancetta from the description of his dish. The green beans would accompany the porchetta, but they would be sautéed with pancetta)

Cocktail hour around 3pm with small bites including candied pork belly bourdon bites, hot crab dip and shrimp skewers. We are following that up with a bunch of stops at other of peer tailgaters to partake in their offerings and share our cocktail offerings, including our favorite Wild Turkey Honey shots. We finish off our tailgate at the Dean of SAS tailgate at the visitors center.

Oh thanks. But I don't have a crock pot ( daughter took it to school) so I decided not to enter.....this year.

Elvis has left the house. We brought in an Elvis impersonator who went on at 5:30 yesterday afternoon for an hour in the Scarlet Lot. Great show and a lot of fun.
