The last line might not have been necessary, but I'm good with the rest of it. I had a little problem seeing DePaul play the schedule they played (and wanted no part of) lose close game after close game and get no respect. They did what the state made them do, as crushed two undefeated teams in the playoffs to win the Parochial B title. News12 and the Star-Ledger can stew on this one for a while...
I found your post to be unnecessary and vitriolic, especially since I've been saying all along that the "southern" parochials aren't up to the standard of the northern parochials when it comes to football. There's a HUGE difference between a school like SJV or RBC and the SPPs and DBs of the world. The suggestion that "all parochials should just play each other and not a conference schedule" is a stupid one, IMO. I wasn't a little surprised to see SJV get their clocks cleaned today.
But that doesn't make Anthony Brown less of a player. He's good. He's smart. In the right program at the next level, he would be successful.
I'm just going to leave it at that. The people who interpreted my OP as some sort of desire to see Russo decommit are overreacting. People here tend to do that. My point was intended to be nothing more than "in my opinion Ash is going to bring in a system that would be more suited to a player like Brown than a player like Russo". If anyone wants to disagree, fine. If anyone wants to be a dick about it, that's fine too.
