Watched this weekend and thought it was great. I haven't seen any of the others movies nominated in McDormand and Rockwell's categories so it is hard for me to say they should have win but they were both outstanding.

Out of the best picture nominees I've only seen Get Out, Three Billboards and Dunkirk. I really liked all three and I would but Three Billboards right up there with those other two.

Liked it.

Not a movie that I would necessarily watch again, though. I have probably watched parts of Inglorious Basterds 10 times in the last 2 months, because it is currently on HBO/Showtime. Haven't been tempted to click on 3 Billboards at all.

I saw it in the theater and felt the exact same way. However, I just happened to catch it last night on HBO and enjoyed it more the second time.

McDormand and Rockwell are both great actors.

And while I thought it was good... I can't say I loved it. JMO.

I liked it but I can see how those who didn't really wouldn't. Its not a movie for mass audiences. Its hard to describe exactly. A much darker version of Fargo. Well cast with a lot of great performances.

It also exactly the kind of movie the academy loves.

The 'much darker version of Fargo' has me thoroughly disinterested.

I don't watch many movies anymore - I find myself busy enough with family, church, and work activities that I just don't care about making time for movies that I'm not fairly certain I'll enjoy.
