Wow, we cannot afford for Thorson to mess up sure TD throws. One of the few times a WR gets separation. Maybe he was so used to throwing it right next to a DB.

Actually the Nebraska defense looks quite good two 3 and outs whereas they're moving the ball against our defense quite easily

Why do our supposedly smart players run two yard routes on 3rd and 3???

This team is unprepared and unfocused. What the hell is this crap??!! On Homecoming, no less. Come on Fitz!!

Pace is just not into it today. He's looked bad on multiple missed tackles already.

The problem with being Chicago's Big10 team..... just about every school has more alums in Chicago than we do.

And that newspaper page they just showed is an example of our problem. Could you imagine if the star running back in Columbus or Ann Arbor or even Iowa City had to retire with injury? It would be on the front page of the sports page at least and not just a "College Football Note' buried somewhere in the middle of the section as part of miscellaneous college football news.

The problem is alleged fans in the Chicago area sitting at home and not buying tix. Northwestern alums are cheap

One thing I noticed is Nebraska Offense is very initiative on their formations and play calling...

I would love to be a fly on the wall in a McCall offensive game-plan meeting...or a film-room session to analyse opponents. Or is it just....OK guys grab some coffee and donuts we will run our usual offense and see what happens.
