DKE didn't like the fact that his thread about sacks got me thinking about how the real issue is the running game. So, in our time of OL despair, to be a nice guy and let DKE get back to discussing the incracracies of sack responsibility, and proving the old cliche that football is a game of inches, I give you the real problem:
We rushed for three-digit INCHES against Wisconsin.
Not yards. Not even feet. Inches. 926 inches. That was our rushing stat.
And that's on top of a stellar 756 inch rushing performance against Duke.
Wake up people! We might be the only P5 team in the entire country to have not one but two rushing performances that didn't crack into 4 digit inches! Frankly, is be surprised if we are not.
It is that bad. Dark ages bad. And I'm not even certain we did this in the Dark Ages.
