Iowa is going to run it down our throats, just like last year. Our defense will wear down if they can't get off the field.

I wish they had reviewed that catch. It looked like he bobbled it going down, but hard to tell without a reverse view.

Man do we miss Harris and Van Hoose. Such a shame that a strength has become such a weakness.

That fumble was because we were "being careful". Fitz's worst strategy. Being careful simply makes you lose your edge and natural ability.

We went into vanilla again with a small lead and this is what we get. Northwestern football at its finest.

Why can't we play a full 60 minutes. We look ok for one quarter and then we suck.

Iowa should have called TO after 3rd stop. Equally bad use of timeouts by both coaches.

Give me a break - putting the ball in your best players hands with 5 minutes left in the half and a lead is not being careful or dumb. What would you have said if thorson threw a pick or had a three and out,

Why bother if you're just going to fair catch. Why do we play so cowardly??? We start strong and then turn into whimps.

That's just ridiculous. Jackson had just made a good run for a first down and takes a strong hit that caused a fumble. And "being careful" caused the fumble? Ridiculous.

Iowa is controlling both LOS now. We had a nice start but lost momentum in the 2nd quarter. Turnovers are killers against Iowa. Hopefully, we can come out tougher in the 2nd half.

This is game is within reach and would be huge for the team. Could turn around the season. Coaches need to be better in second half. I thought some of the decision making, timeout usage or lack thereof and clock management left something to be desired. They need to be perfect in the 2nd half to give the team a chance to win.
