Iowa is controlling both LOS now. We had a nice start but lost momentum in the 2nd quarter. Turnovers are killers against Iowa. Hopefully, we can come out tougher in the 2nd half.
I think we're getting hurt on offense when going with empty backfield sets. Iowa's teeing up on our o-line with a four man rush, and not surprisingly, our WRs are having trouble getting open with seven defenders back in coverage. We need to keep JJ (or a RB) in the backfield to at least present the option of a run.

We played OK in the first half. We're losing because:

1) The bad punt and good return by King, setting up their first TD.
2) The very nice sideline catch on that third down conversion, when our D did everything right (i.e.. good scheme, good coverage).
3) JJ's fumble.

If we get a few breaks in the second half, we'll be in position to win.

This is game is within reach and would be huge for the team. Could turn around the season. Coaches need to be better in second half. I thought some of the decision making, timeout usage or lack thereof and clock management left something to be desired. They need to be perfect in the 2nd half to give the team a chance to win.
Corbi, I am not confident in expecting the coaches to do better on the 2nd half
