I miss Kain Colter. We just don't have any speed at the skill positions. He was the only NU offensive player I can remember in a long time that looked like an FBS level athlete.
Has a team ever named their punter MVP? Or Northwestern make history with this fun stat as well?
What the...Hartage? He played that great with eyes on the ball but inexplicably doesn't go up to defend the pass. He could've had an INT???
When was the last time an NU receiver pushed off to make a catch? Everybody else does it. We never do it.
The first punt gave me flashbacks of last year but he redeemed himself on the next one. Was very good in the first game. Hope he keeps it up.

Absolutely. The defender was inside our receiver's shirt and face guarding. No call. Harris barely touched their guy: 2 calls.
Why are we barely running the ball? Way to kill the drive by just taking 3 shots at the endzone. Capped off by a missed FG. Loooong season ahead.
Great question about the offensive play calling. Thorson is clearly off. What do we do? Pass more.
ISU played for the FCS championship a couple years ago. Good team. We should beat then by 2-3 TDs.
