It would probably behoove you to store up several months worth of food just in case SreallydoesHTF.

People should always have enough food for their family in the house for at least two months. I can live fairly comfortable for about 6 months then would have to ration.

Looking at buying a freeze dryer to help prepare for whatever and as a side hustle selling freeze dried goods to preppers.

Which pump did you get? I'm thinking the Premium pump will be just fine as I don't mind changing the oil very 25 batches or so.
I have to change mine about every 4 or 5 batches. It's not hard, just annoying. I haven't read any reviews on the premium one, but I'd give it a shot if the reviews were OK.

Yeah, they come with the Premium pump standard now so that's a bonus.

But do they really not get it? Biden's USAID chief says all of this is an opportunity to go green. Maybe they "get it" in a way most of the rest of us will not like.
Planned chaos amongst the masses so we need the government.....

Fortunately,my children are in good condition…but the rest of their neighborhoods..Damn..bidet,pisses me the fack off

Knew you’d be on this. Russia hooked your dumb *** in again.

Its obvious. Jewish space lasers operated by a pedophile pizza ring

Do you realize how many of us are STILL laughing at you for swollowing that Trump Russian "collusion" scam?

Nothing was dumber than falling for that canard and YOU along with a few other mind numbed Leftists still believe it! A totally fabricated made up scam and it's just as real to you today as it was when it was cooked up by loser Hillary and her humpbacked henchmen at the corrupt DNC.

Shut up already. 😏

Lots of truckers sounding the alarm. Many are quitting their jobs because of the high cost of fuel (which they have to pay for our of their own pockets) and the ones still working are having a lot of trouble getting parts for their trucks when they break down.

The first "shortage" to show up on the Left was intelligence. Every other dumb thing they do just logically follows.

Freeze dryer ordered.

Expensive, but worth it, IMO. Great thing about it is you can freeze dry food that you can't can or freeze. Milk, cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, eggs, etc. Lasts for up to 25 years. Don't have to worry about power outages either. Just finished a full load of asparagus out of the garden, have a full load of sharp cheddar going now, with strawberries next. Bananas are my favorite straight out of the bag. Just drink plenty of water :) I bought an extra set of trays too to speed things up.

This guy has some very helpful videos: retired at 40.

Mylar bags, Oxygen absorbers in bulk: Mylar

I buy the oil at O'reillys auto by the case.

You have convinced me to get one . I'm in the process of building a kitchen in my basement for canning & food prep. Have 1 deep freezer & a side by side freezer full of beef for canning . Just when I think I'm prepared I realize I need more

I'm betting he is the kinda person that always gets the most expensive of everything to show he makes money. Little wiener syndrome.... some are growers & some are showers

Maybe he spends more money on things than most folks because he's not very bright?

I mean look who he voted for?

Product shortages and soaring prices reveal fragility of U.S. supply chain

CBS NEWS:

About 31% of grocery products consumers browsed were out of stock in the first week of April, according to Datasembly, a research firm that tracks grocery and retail pricing. That's up from 11% at the end of November 2021. Out-of-stock notices were even more common in Connecticut, Delaware, Montana, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Texas and Washington, where they surpassed 40%.

Compounding the challenge for consumers, Americans are also shelling out more money for many of the same goods they're used to buying. Grocery prices were up 9% in March from a year ago, according to Adobe. Egg prices are up 56% according to the Department of Agriculture.

Generally, the availability and price of goods depends on three main components: raw materials, human labor and logistics, like shipping and transportation. If any of these links is weak, or breaks down as they have during the pandemic, it can disrupt the entire supply chain.

"If any part of the supply chain is disrupted because crops are not coming through, parts are not in stock or trucks are not available, that leads to disruption, which means supply chains will have shortages," Achal Bassamboo, a professor of operations at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, told CBS Money Watch.
