I haven't knowingly bought a coca cola product since they came out with that white guilt training. Haven't watched any ESPN channel since this whole Big 12 raid. Any games on ESPN i would want to follow will be listened to on the TuneIn Radio App. My youtube tv subscription ends in the middle of September and I will switch to the Sling Tv package that doesn't include any ESPN channels put has FS1.

This isn't a ******* vaccine, it serves a similar function to the flu shot. The fact that we are using that word to describe this shot has Salk weeping from his grave. Does the shot serve it's intended purpose? The shots merits and whether or not it goes in one's body should be up to everyone as individuals and shouldn't be a part of HR decisions. Are flu shots required or used in HR decisions by private companies? None that I know of.
This shot has some pretty bad side effects for SOME otherwise healthy folks, bad enough that people don't want it. Others with certain conditions are being advised by their DOCTORS not to get the shot. So, should these folks be discriminated against by private companies? That's an interesting take if you are good with that.
Finally, the idea that using one's Covid shot status in HR decisions is A-OK because, "capitalism", doesn't float with me. "Go get another job", doesn't float with me. And I guarantee that those of you that don't own your own businesses, but instead built a corporate career would absolutely BALK at these notions if you believed in (or didn't believe in) something strong enough. You know what building a career is like and how difficult and costly it can be to switch streams mid paddle.
The arrogance and near elitism that is being demonstrated by some on this subject is sad. What is sadder is the way that many of us are fine with the benchmark of liberty robbing practices that is being set. Those that would steal our freedom will not stop out of the goodness of their hearts. They will take and take and take.

I know literally hundreds of doctors and nurses or more in my hospital and I have not heard or seen that .
today I had 10 covid + patients on my census . All sick . All unvaccinated. All wish they would have now . I’ve seen hundreds or more . It’s sad and the virus absolutely ravages some .
Doesn't pressure me to get flu shots( I always react badly to them) or the boosters when they start. Promised to heal me if I got the covid19. I guess you can be doubtful and still practice Medicine..

No pre-existing conditions with two. One did it because of exposure to his grandchildren and wanting to "protect" them and another said "The VA is hounding me over this.". I am not sure if the VA is requiring a vax for standard entry as I never explored what that "hounding" was. I wish I had and I am too hesitant to approach the family after the fact.
I had it in March ... first illness in 4 years ... relied on my immune system. Done & done.
Thing is, achieving "immunity" is sketchy and now many are surmising that the vaccine is making people more susceptible to the variants.

Vaccines were always designed with 2 goals. 1) Prevent any illness at all and 2) minimize severity of illness. People for whatever reason think vaccines are only made to prevent any type of disease but that’s not always the case. The flu vaccine is very good example of this. And then you have variants.
These variants are mutations that the vaccine may not even able to fight against, not even minimize severity of illness. That’s why it was important for everyone to get vaccinated early on. But many were hesitant while eating McDonalds and washing it down with a Bud Light and smoking a cigarette before hooking up with a chick who has ridden the entire town.
I think you’re just taking “shots” at people who don’t want take it. I know several who have antibodies frim the first wave of covid. Even some studies have proven antibodies are way better protection than the vaccine itself.
And hasn’t Fauci flip-flopped on the ideas of masks? “If you’ve had the covid vaccine. Masks aren’t needed.” Now he says the vaccinated need one? ****. What a fantasy land.

Unless you are the person who gets a long term illness from the vaccine or even death. I have two neighbors who received the vaccine in April/May. within 24 hours one had a stroke and is in a nursing home for the rest of his life, the second had a heart issue and was hospitalized for 5 days and finally needed a pacemaker. We never hear the side effects of this vaccine until we see people who are suffering the side effects. So why don't you tell the people who said the 'Vaccine was safe, it has been tested" to go visit these people and tell them how safe it is.
