As a coach or GM. I'd be looking at that too. Unvaccinated players are held to a different standard when they come in contact with someone infected. You could potentially experience devastating attrition this season. You can be cut for literally anything. If it's down to me and another guy...I'm getting the jab and helping my chances...but to each their own.

Players have been cut for decades if they won't take every available treatment to stay on the field. Some of those treatments are far more harmful that a COVID vaccine. Why the outrage now?

While I don’t agree with the concept. Given the cards dealt out to the head coach and the general managers, what else can you do?

that’s an irrational justification. For example, confederate monuments have been around since the late 1800s. why the outrage now?

doesn’t Really work, does it?

All of a sudden, "My body, my choice" doesn't seem to work anymore either.

What would you sue them for?
I’m not a lawyer but if I were on the jury I would rule for the team all day long. They’re trying to mitigate the risk and there is data that shows that it’s beneficial. You don’t want to help mitigate the risk you may not have a job. For the record i’m OK with vaccines but I’m definitely skeptical about masks.

The vaccine sure is working wonders.

I can never remember...

Does Crazy Raven playing Chicken Little again mean they are on their meds or off their meds?

Plenty of jobs out there.

I don't know a single employer that doesn't have openings right now.

Its supply and demand.

Some employers are requiring vaccination as a condition of employment.

If you don't like it, go get another job.

There are plenty of jobs available.

If enough employees demand a vaccination free work environment, the employers will change.

But the most recent polling today says 80% plan to get it at some point.

when the sheeple start talking with their wallets things will change.....but not before. Most of the people on this board complaining about companies and vaccines still patronize them. If they aren't, it's having very little effect. Bunch of Coke drinking, Nike wearing, NFL watching sheeple who talk....and talk....and talk.

I think Covid outlasts Urban down there anyway…
If there's a mainstream media and politicians willing to exploit fear in exchange for power, you can bet your *** the virus calamity will outlast Sick Boy.

Hell, COVID may as well sign a 20-year contract. Too bad those that sign its checks won't be seeing the end of that contract. All bills come due.

Yes, sir.

I would cut any player who tests positive for Covid, whether they are vaccinated or unvaccinated. Wouldn't want to keep diseased players on my team

Yes ... but vaccinated players can't spread the virus ... or get sick ... or die ... or drop a pass ... or score less than 50,000 on "Asteroids".

This is why our country is phucked.
It's a Capitalist society. Employers set the conditions for employment. The workers have a choice to work under those conditions or not.

If they don't like those conditions, they are free to work elsewhere. This isn't slavery or even Upton Sinclair's The Jungle.

A minority of workers have an issue with vaccines and they have every right to refuse them. What they don't have a right to is the job that requires a vaccination.

If you feel that employment is a right, you might want to check into a socialist or communist country where the right to work is guaranteed.
