Point is people need to get vaccinated. Misinformed unvaccinated clowns are the ones driving this spike and it was entirely preventable. Had we had this level of vaccine snowflakery back when we were dealing with small pox, it would have never been eradicated.

The point is people need to do whatever it is they want to do. If it’s getting a vax? Great. If not, so be it. Respect their individual Liberty and take appropriate risk mitigation procedures you deem necessary for yourself.

But Trump got the vaccine too, before he left office.I can tell you based on the small sample size of black folks I talk to about it, they don't trust this "shot" to do what it's supposed to do, and a good many of them think it does something worse. I won't take it because it's not needed, and doesn't work anyway.
My own immune system is better, by any measure. Do you folks realize Trump is better able to fight off a Covid infection having survived the virus and developed anti-bodies by his own immune system than Biden is by just taking that shot?

Because my 9 year old and 3 year old are not vaccinated, and they are more susceptible to the delta variant. Also, this is the anti-vax argument. There are people who are unable to be vaccinated, people like cancer patients, folks with autoimmune disorders, etc, who are put in a more dangerous position because those who can be vaccinated choose not to be. We've seen the results from folks deciding this for things like MMR.
What should Biden have done differently to get more shots in arms? Serious question because I see tons of posts about why folks are never getting this shot. I know that's not you, but what's the solution?
I don't know what he can do.......I'm not the POTUS and do not have access to all the resources and to the "best and brightest" that Biden has.
I would say that the past conflicting statements by Fauci and others has caused some to be skeptical...........others just are against all vaccinations and others just don't have trust in the shots and possible side effects.
Sadly..........this coronavirus issue was politicized by the MSM against Trump. I see no reason why Biden should not get the same treatment.........that is why I posted.

When he suggests sending people out to discuss the issue with folks who are hesitant, he's accused of knocking down doors to force shots into arms. He could lean on the FDA. That would be painted in a bad light, but that would also allow for government and employer mandates once they have full FDA approval. I think that's the path forward.
I heard an interview recently with some folks on the science side of this. I'll see if I can find the names involved. Regardless, their point was that the rush wasn't on the lab coat side of the process, it was on the business suit side. That, plus we have the largest set of trials we're going to get. The FDA needs to stop dragging its feet.

Tell the truth about the NIH funding even if you have to say it wasn't intended for the PLA to be involved. Start a 911 style commission. Until then trust in our institutions are fading fast and not just with the Anti-Vaccine groups, Minority groups, and the I don't like to be told what to do groups.
Only time can determine long term side effects. For people 70 or older that's not a concern. However younger people who can fight the virus on their own are concerned and rightfully so. Leaning on the FDA to spead that up is unethical.
