Digging into this delta thing this morning. Quite a bit more transmissible, it's R0 is 3.5-4, compared to alpha's 2.5. However, with this increase in cases, we're not seeing the hospitalizations and deaths we saw with alpha. In order to become more transmissible, it's lost its punch, as we typically see with evolutions of viruses.

As a 50 year old , healthy, just a little overweight & my only health issue is asthma. I've never had the flu & I cant remember my last cold . I have a 97%+/- of surviving this Corona virus if I even know I have it . The government is telling me I need to take this stuff they are calling a vaccine ( it is not a vaccine, they changed the definition of vaccine for this to fit). The pharmaceutical industry is not responsible for any side effects nor is anyone else it is all reward for a very greedy industry who has killed millions in the name of profit. This vax will not stop me from getting the virus nor will it stop me from spreading the virus, it will only keep me from getting as sick (they say ) now we have to get a booster shot. I'm not a CEO's test monkey. We know that many kids is having adverse reactions to this vax.

I guess they are hoping for another stimulus check or want to continue to work from home in their pajamas. Our economy and country can't afford that.
