You are correct. No need for name calling. I stand by the fact it was a horrendous policy, and not becoming of an "advanced" society as you are promulgating the Chi-Coms on this forum. Don't get me wrong, I love the Chinese people. I just can't stand their Godless Socialist government.
Im sorry, i apologize for the name calling. It is late here. I just dont like when people only see what they want to see and only here what they want to here . Yes china does a lot of really ***** things. Yes america is a better place. But a lot of the things america wants to condemn other places for, we have done or still do to an extent. I think to deny that and only focus on other places being worse doesnt solve the problem.

Moron, im telling you i PERSONALLY know many families with more than one child. Its in the open, its not a secret. Im scared at how dumb you sound talking about things half way around the world that you have zero knowledge about

You are correct. I have never lived in China, never visited China, and don't know much about it outside of what I've read. However I do live in the USA, I've visited almost all of the States in it, and I am intimately familiar with what a wonderful country it is. I Love America...I could criticize its faults, but there is far more to celebrate about America than castigate.

If given a choice, I'd take America over China any day. You obviously feel different, and that's OK. However America gave you the Freedom to leave and go live in China. Too bad the Chinese people don't have that same advantage with their country to leave there and try living here?

Wonder why not?

But thats not true at all, i will eventually move back to america because that is where my family is and i love and miss so many things about it. I just want people to understand there are good things and bad things everywhere. Most Chinese people absolutely love their country with all of their heart. It is an amazimg thing to see honestly. But a lot of chinese people are told a lot of untrue things about america, just like a lot of americans are told a lot of untrue things about china.

Then explain to me why it is in my lifetime that my parents, both from west Virginia, neither went to college, and who made a combined 30k a year owned a home, had 2 cars, and a boat. Now fast forward just 40 years. If you are a SINGLE person making 30k a year could you live like that? No you couldn't. If you are a single person currently making 30k a year you probably are renting an apartment (possibly with a roommate) you have a car that you probably got used, and forget about anything extra such as anothef car or a boat. So convince me how that is a good thimg for the average person let alone a family?
The promise of America isn't a guaranteed income, or a guaranteed level of comfort my friend. The promise of America is you accessing unlimited opportunity to be the best YOU are capable of being. Freedom is priceless. The Chinese people unfortunately are not Free. If you prefer their limited and regimented life under the iron fist of the Chinese Government, knock yourself out.

It's not about the Chinese People. There good human beings there. If only they had the arms to overthrow the CCP. After COVID 19 you find the majority of Americans and the world are pissed off at the CCP. The rest financially gain from them.

I understand being pissed at them as this is where it originated. Yes they tried to contain it on their own before telling the resg lf the world how bad it was, that is 100% on them. However with the slight caveat of absolutely America would have tried to keep it under wtaps as well, just like most other countries would have. That doesn't excuse it though, not af all. But what they got right was how they handled it. I was here for the entire thing. I have lived a normal life for almost a year now.

Again, i have admitted that yes there are restrictions and limitations. You are absolutely correct as far as learning and knowledge in curriculum is concerned. But that is for the early to younger students. Would it shock you to learn that most chinese students are encouraged to go to college abroad? Because that is absolutely true. The most popular schools in china specialize in getting students prepared to take entry exams for colleges outside of china.

Im not overly familiar with this gentleman but i can certainly look him up.

My entire statement was 100% fact whether you want to believe it or not.

Which system is "better"? Our Capitalist market driven free enterprise system or their central planning, government owned/controlled Socialist income distribution system?

Try to explain your answer.

Now you're lying. The Chinese people are not "free" to assemble and Worship. Where and when they do, they do so "in hiding". Tell the Truth.

excerpt:
Summary
  • The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist, but it recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Catholicism, Daoism, Islam, and Protestantism. Authorities tightly monitor registered and unregistered groups.
  • There are a growing number of religious believers, including those who practice folk religions and more than a dozen other banned faiths.
  • China has one of the largest populations of religious prisoners, and some groups, including Uyghur Muslims, face high levels of persecution.
How many Americans are persecuted by the American Government for their Faith?

Both have advantages and the solution needs to be somewhere in the middle. Admittedly i dont know how that would work. But forcing more and more people to scrape by just to make ends meat for their family regardless of how hard they work so a CEO can go from 1mil to 1.2mil is not the answer. Likewise having everything owned and controlled by the government presents a world of hidden problems and even obvious ones to anykne not in the government.

Capitalism is better. It isn't "forced" on people. Socialism always is.

Absolutely true. My gfs mom also does alot of private tutoring to the students in her home and she has crosses in every room. She purchased and sent to us crosses to put up in our place. If she was so restricted, as a professor at a state run university, who does private tutoring in her home (which the university pays for by the way) with openly displayed crosses in every room you dont think there would have been some kind of repercussions by now?

Its not a perfect system no matter how hard anyone (you or I) wish it was.
No it isn't. We (humans) aren't perfect...but Capitalism works better than anything the Socialists have tried or are trying. World history confirms my analysis. No one "chooses" Socialism...it's always forced on folks. Folks yearn for Freedom...and with Freedom comes the opportunity to pursue your goals without interference or control by central planners.

Our way is superior, with superior results, and a superior world history of success. Socialism fails everywhere and every time it's tried. It is "forced" on the Chinese people, they cannot get rid of it.

Fact.

Im not denying it is better, i have never said that it isn't. All i have ever said is it could be better, and things here are not as bad as you are led to believe. My only point is, was, and always will be that jt is so much easier to fix your own problems when admitting your not perfect and there are indeed problems to fix as opposed to just saying its someone elses fault. And then on top.of that not even having full or accurate information about the place youre pissed off about.
