In my opinion, they’re trying to hype a narrative which they’ve been failing at connecting and seemingly still failing to connect. The narrative is that Brian Sicknick was murdered by a rabid hoard of Trumpian insurrectionists. First, it was because he was attacked with a fire extinguisher. Then, that narrative collapsed when the ME said he didn’t die of complications from blunt force trauma.

Now, they’re labeling it as some random chemical agent. As if it was a anthrax or some ****. It was bear spray from everything I’ve read. Basically, the same spray Antifa and BLM have also been using on police. And the same general kind of chemical agent police use in crowd control. They still haven’t connected his death is as a direct result of that. Look how they’re wording the article. They’re trying to infer it. If that was the cause of death, these guys would be charged with at a minimum, manslaughter.

They don’t even list the 9 charges that were filed in the articles I read. The closest I found was some assault stuff. Not what you’d be charged with for murdering a police officer.

It’s part of a larger crafted narrative and propaganda action and its pretty transparent to anyone following the story with an objective mind. It all started with labeling them as insurrectionists. Meanwhile, we had other federal building assaulted for months, and years. Even this weekend. Those weren’t insurrectionists though. This is a crafted narrative to try and bludgeon Trump supporters.

Damn...... Hey you have it all figured out. I am lucky to have read this. Your views are quite clear after reading this. Goebbels would be so proud.
Goebbels worked for Obama. The MSM is Goebbels publishing agent

Hundreds of police from all around the nation have been assaulted almost on a daily basis by Antifa and BLM for over a year and not a single post or word on this board from the leftist here denouncing it. Then, one cop dies from unknown causes and all the libbies/socialist/woke/progressive,etc.... come out of the woodwork in righteous indignation because.....it was at a right wing demonstration. Funny how hypocrisy works huh?
I wish one tractor and trailer would take out a bunch of those marchers blocking the interstate in some city.

It’s not whataboutism. It’s applying the proper context in response to a propaganda narrative.. I’m not defending the 6th, it was as wrong as the events of the summer. A mob out of control, fueled by a lie. The coverage of the events by our failed 4th estate is entirely different though.
Some folks just cant help themselves. They defended these riots until the 6th and now they are violent felons.

Cant have opinions these days without the usual suspects acting like usual suspects.

buhahahahahhahhahahaa :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy::joy:

You are the clown that was calling the Jan 6th a peaceful protest while they stormed the building. You weren't alone though.

Agreed, the usual suspect acting like usual suspect. You are at the top of the mountain...

Why hasn’t the name of the officer who shot Ashli Babbitt been released? She was unarmed and was never told to stand down and was standing on the other side of a barrier and was shot without warning. While she was trespassing she didn’t deserve to be shot.

Seems a lot of violent behavior last summer in Portland and Seattle as well as Minneapolis went unpunished while this girl was executed. And no one is even talking about it. Tragic and sad.
Sorry, Ron, but you’re wrong about the Ashli Babbitt shooting. Have you watched the video of that? It’s tragic for many reasons, but she and others trying to climb the barrier were told many times to stand down and they didn’t listen.

I agree she should have been arrested. Instead she was shot in the throat.

I certainly wish it hadn’t happened, but she was in the middle of a mass of people coming over a barrier at a lone or at least dramatically outnumbered officer.

Hard to find any way to excuse shooting her. She was unarmed and nobody's life was in danger.

This is another example of your stupidity. WIth so many of them concealing weapons, you have no idea other than making an assumption. Cops/security have seconds to react to group storming in.

Are you kidding me? How would that officer know whether she or the others with her were unarmed in that setting? They were smashing glass coming at him, she was trying to climb over or through it, and people were screaming about a gun. Members of Congress also were still in the building as the mob was violently breaking through. What was that officer supposed to do? How exactly was he supposed to try to arrest her or anyone else without risk to his own life?

I disagree. She was absolutely no threat at all. And why don’t we know who shot her?

The only weapons were the capitol police. She was shot almost point blank climbing over a barricade. I have no problem defending police but this was indefinsible.

So he shot her? She didnt have a weapon. She was not endangering anyone. She was trespassing.

She must have told the security that while bashing/climbing through the window and the mob right behind her. Cops should have just trusted her behavior....

Have you watched the video? There is absolutely no way for that officer to know whether she or others were armed. They were being violent and had already broken into the Capitol where members of. Ingress were. You have to make certain assumptions in that setting. They know the officer’s identity, but haven’t released it to the public. I don’t know the considerations surrounding that, but the Capitol Police concluded the use of force was justified and have been waiting for the US Attorney’s Office to conclude its investigation and determine whether it will pursue charges. As a practical matter, I don’t think they will or should pursue charges.

He isnt supposed to shoot unless his life or someone elses life is in danger. She was one person climbing over a barricade. Any normal cop anywhere would have been fired and charged but he wont be charged because his boss is a politician.

The storming of the Capitol was wrong. However so were the riot by the left this summer. At least the Congress men and women hiding and fearing for their lives know how the the many, many business owners felt when they were attacked without impunity this summer.

She didnt show a weapon. Had she pulled a weapon nobody would question the shooting.

Cops warned them multiple times throughout the storm. People should be lucky there was minimal casualties.

Not one person knows for sure if she had a weapon or not leading up to that moment. Only thing for certain was each time there was an encounter with law enforcement, the mod kept trying to move forward. This is why the "peaceful protest" had consequences. She died due to being dumb.

Couldn’t agree more. The moment a person ignores a police officer’s reasonable command and resists them is the moment I no longer care what happens to them. That doesn’t mean the person deserves to die, Im just not going to shed a tear. It applies to Babbit, Floyd, brooks, and the dozens of others this summer who fought the police. Their jobs are tough enough as it is, especially given their low pay.

btw, Appalachia Kitchen was excellent. Great tip. It recently moved to the 4th floor across the parking lot and has sunset views of the mountains. Thanks for the tip.
