I am asking a serious question. Are other COVID patients allowed to leave the hospital/homes after testing positive? On their own free will, with no punishment?
Once again, as a medical professional, I can say you’re incorrect. Most covid patients are transported home by family or friends and private vehicle. Until you understand you’ve been lied to by media, just stfu
I’m not sure where you got that. We were under quarantine for 2 weeks because of my daughter. I didn’t go to work, but I went pretty much anywhere else I wanted to.

Patrick arrived at her quarantine location in Kapa’a on Aug. 12, but police discovered that she left her lodging several times that day and the next. Officers visited her quarantine location on Aug. 13 and determined they had probable cause to arrest Patrick on suspicion of breaking quarantine.
Police took Patrick to the Kauai Police Department Detention Center and she subsequently posted $2,000 in bail, police said. Afterward, police escorted Patrick back to her quarantine location where she would stay for the remainder of her quarantine period.

A Kentucky woman ordered to self-quarantine after testing positive for the coronavirus was arrested as she left a Louisville grocery store, according to police records.
Kendra A. Burnett, 37, was arrested Monday after her mother told a police officer she was violating a court order to self-quarantine, according to an arrest citation, the Courier Journal reported.

After he tested positive for the coronavirus this month, Jose Freire Interian received strict orders to quarantine at his home in Key West, Fla. With infections exploding across the state, the sick 24-year-old was not to leave his bungalow and risk spreading the virus any further.
But on Wednesday, police showed up to his door, demanding that he and his wife leave their house — in handcuffs.
“I asked them, ‘Why?’ I was in shock,” he told the Associated Press. “Why am I getting arrested for? It was unfair.”
I'm linking stories of those that were arrested for breaking quarantine in another reply. See that to understand my confusion on this situation......personally, you all should know how I feel about this......I'm against forced quarantine, masks, social distancing, etc. However, the precedent has been set......should be uniform across the board, not special treatment.
That's not an answer to my question. Why was Trump allowed to do something other ordinary citizens with COVID cannot do?

A giant scam. Fear and paranoia, that's what we were being sold. The virus is real, but it's NOT a death sentence, and wasn't worth shutting our economy down. Most folks who get this like Trump did, survive it fine. That never gets reported. Only death and misery, which makes @moe happy. He's really pissed it didn't kill Trump though.
He wasn't discharged............right? He left, and then returned to the hospital. That's not "discharged".
It may be a scam. I'm not arguing this. However, when ordinary citizens get their "orders" after testing positive, they have to live by them....as much as they hate it. If they don't, as I have posted, there are consequences. Personally, I don't care what Trump did. I would do the same thing. But if I were seen doing it, there would be consequences.

You're not a medical professional. While patients are hospitalized with covid they are not allowed to leave the hospital or have visitors. But the tax fraud con man you support doesnt adhere to those rules.

No I am a medical professional. And you are wrong. And visiting is allowed if the hospital allows it. We make exceptions based on situation. It’s up to each individual hospital.
Its proven that masks help reduce the spread its not a guarantee but they help. If you actually had any medical knowledge then you would know this to be true
Hospitals do not allow covid visitors and you're not a medical professional. They don't allow covid patients that are hospitalized and infected to go on joy rides. Stop making a fool out of yourself fake nurse.

In a way, yes. Remember, a sitting president cannot be indicted of a crime. Not saying I agree with that, but the president is not held to same rules or laws. In this case, there isn’t a crime or law broken anyways
No, you’re wrong. We do make exceptions and some are allowed a visitor. Don’t argue with someone who knows while you rely on google. It’s up to each hospital
Learn my stance on this "virus" and stop assuming.....would do you well. My disdain is towards the obvious here in this situation.
Its been proven that it helps reduce the spread if you want a guarantee buy a toaster. But Trump is irresponsible. If you became ill would you take the advice of a health professional or a con man who doesnt pay his taxes?
