join the AAC. Now hear me out before crucifying me. I say Add WVU and Old Dominion to the AAC. What this does is add a a recognizable name (WVU) and a big market and fertile recruiting area (Norfolk) to the AAC . This would also propel the AAC into a power conference so they would have a seat at the table as far as playoff spots go. Now WVU would where they belong back on the East coast playing in areas where they once did. The conferences would be
North South
West Virginia. Central Florida
Temple. Memphis
South Florida. Houston
Cincinnati. SMU
UCONN. Tulsa
ODU. Tulane
East Carolina. Navy
The North would have
WVU - pretty solid football history constant bowl team
East Carolina - with coach Houston there they will be a contender in a few short years
South Florida- very good coach and stable program
Cincy- seems to have more good years than bad ones
Temple- has become a solid and tough program
ODU- big market and deep recruiting talent pool
UCONN- every Confernce has that one team
The south would have
Central Florida - one of the best teams out there. Can play with anyone
Memphis- has become a good program. Often hold their own against SEC teams
Houston- big market and Holgy will have them playing at a high level. Deep recruiting area too
Navy - triple option nightmare
SMU- seems to be stuck as a .500 type team but in a good are for players
Tulsa - has struggled but I the near past has had great seasons
Tulane- great academics, so so football
A WVU vs Central Florida championship game would be awesome. Plus the drive to these schools a hell of a lot better
