The whole idea of WVU going to the AAC is stupid, and is a weak attempt at trolling, as was pointed out already. If anyone should consider it, Pitt should. They have done nothing noteworthy since the 70’s and can’t sell out their stadium unless the opposing fan base does it for them.

Navy would make more sense in the North, South Florida in the South.
Tulsa and/or SMU could take our place in the Big 12.
Add Marshall to the North, put ECU in the South. Add Villanova to the North, move ODU to the South. Maybe throw Army in.
All in all, a forgettable conference.
Eagle...no one is serious lol. Then agsin I think wvu is a more natural fit in the PAC with folks like ucla...Washington...stanford etc. I mean no need to show up at a game just watch a halogram in your media room.
Reading Phil Steele's 2019 preview and he has WVU #9 in the Big12. Only Kansas is lower. If you look at the AAC he gives Memphis, UCF, Cincy, Houston all high marks. And has Navy and SMU 2019 most improved teams. Last year they had good teams and the records of last years teams were. Houston 7-1 until they lost many defensive starters and their QB USF was 7-6, Temple was 8-5. Memphis was 8-6 UCF was 12-1 and Cincy was 11-2. The ceiling is high on several of these teams in fact several have beaten power teams in the recent past. Say what you want about non memorable conference ect ect ect. The Big 12 is the big 2 and little 8 and the big two are always looking to go somewhere else hell even Kansas wants to leave the Big 12. WVU would help the AAC and the AAC would help WVU. Call me a troll call me an idiot thats fine maybe some of you have had too much to drink at Crocketts I think WVU fits in that conference better than the Big 12. WVU being back in a pretty much East coast confernce helps with recruiting, being in the AAC actually gives WVU a chance to play in a conference championship game. And a chance to play in the playoff. The AAC with WVU and ODU, will bring that conference a place at the table. Plus AAC basketball is pretty solid Houston won 33 games and they had 8 other teams win 22 or more games. Better natural rivals for WVU

WVU vs Navy both teams are close to one another. WVU ve Memphis could be very interesting. WVU ve Central Florida has all kinds of potential. Plus Houston with Holgy yea instant rival

Well I grew up watching Pitt PSU and WVU so I have posted on all three boards until Pitt threw me off of their board. So I guess I am a PSU fan who has seen more WVU games in person and ties to WVU

School doesn't make $40 m a year. Once all the ungodly coaching salaries are paid...stadium updates taken care of...professional level player amenities paid for...and general expenses run through the budget...school is lucky to make a buck or two. Don't want it to happen, but anyone with common sense and a little business skill (even you FakeSportsWriter)...would know that cutting expenses back to match level of involvement ends up in the same place...maybe a buck or two profit. So, except for ego stroking...what does the so called P5 really do for the school? Note I said school not FakeSportsWriters and forum addicts.
