Why not do it publically then?
Read some legitimate reporting on the facts. But in summary, Nadler, the rest of the Dems and the GOP members of the Judiciary committee are trying to convince Mueller to do it in open session. The OP is misleading. The negotiation is still going on with Mueller. Mueller is the one attempting to do it in private but release the transcript publicly, not that Congress is "not letting him do it publicly".

It is speculated and I believe the speculation that Mueller doesn't want to be the center of idiot congressmen politicizing and grandstanding. Mueller is a get the facts kinda guy and knows what is going to happen with some of these hacks in Congress and wants no part of it.

I guess him and Trump have the same view of the Democrats in Congress. Now, we find common ground!

That, and two people will read when he actually knew there was no collusion.

Let's see how convincing they are......The Dems had a big problem allowing Barr to testify in "private" and demanded he appear in public. Seems like our prize "Parisian hack" has no memory.

He had free reign to put out every fact he wanted in his report.

He put out a lot of facts and then said "Congress, do your job on the obstruction". That is what is trying to be done and you whackos ignore the fact in order to set your own narrative in order to keep the cover up by Trump in full force.

just another cover up...

like I said last week, NO WAY they allow Mueller to be asked questions...

he's have to say the whole thing was a lie and the Dems WILL NOT ALLOW that...

Can you provide a link where Mueller told congress to do its job on obstruction?

How do the Dems get away with their dishonesty? Nadler opposed Clinton report being public, but wants Mueller report more public than 98%. Now doesn’t want public to know if fellow Dems illegally spied on a Pres. candidate and a President. Americans deserve to know.

Why ask why? They always lie...even when they tell the Truth! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nadler the Hutt is a massive liar.

Mueller
doesn’t want to testify at all.

He knows everything was a sham and he allowed Weismann to go on a fishing expedition: witch hunt.

What is Trump covering up? Why are Leftists so convinced of something they can't even prove? I thought after "no collusion" from Mueller they finally learned that lesson? [pfftt]

The mueller report helps the Dem narrative a lot more when they can "paraphrase" it.

He refused to make a judgement on it one way or the other. He told Congress that's their decision to make. They've asked him to come help them decide what he meant, and he doesn't want to explain himself (at least not publicly)

So explain how this is telling Congress to do their job on "obstruction"? Wasn't that his job in the first place?

ITT, not least bit surprised at level of willful ignorance.

Not worth discussing serious topics with complete morons.

I get the feeling you have this view quite often. Either you’re far superior to everyone around you, which you’ve proven over and over again that isn’t the case, or you’re actually the asshat.

Or I'm too bored to deal with the same Deny, Deflection, and Lies from the usual idiots in a repeat of a discussion that has already been done many times.

Then leave the board. Deflection and lies are SOP for you. Find that Mueller quote from his report yet.......or is that just another lie?

Well, at least the idiots provide KFC during testimony.

Private... public.... it won't matter.

He hasn't showed up or agreed to anything yet ! The whole report is based of what Nadler told Maddow during an interview. There are tons of tough questions he doesn't want to answer in public for sure.
