Meh...really not worth my time or effort with him Gunny. Trust me, we've dropped the gloves at center ice a few times and it usually ends with him running off when I get too close for his comfort figuring out exactly what he says he is NOT know what I mean?
So, he's probably an OK Dude, just like a lot of folks on the Left refuses to defend or be pinned down on it. So I just let him go because I know conversation with him only goes so far.
Matter of fact, I can just tell you (since we haven't been blogging together all that long here on the OT forum) there are only one or two on the Left I even bother to exchange ideas with because they are usually very civil, make good points, and we generally have respectful if not productive interchanges. One is @mule_eer ...a really good guy...smart, well informed, able to articulate his points, never descends into name calling and is just an excellent read as a poster.
The other one is @mneilmont. I honestly am not sure or at least I cannot tell you if he is on the Left or Right? (I think he votes mostly Republican) however he gives it equally to both sides. He's another one who rarely (but sometimes) engages in the nasty personal attacks, however he's usually well informed, on point, makes solid arguments and I generally come away from discussion with him feeling it was worth the effort.
Just a heads up for 'ya Gunny my Man based on just my own personal interchanges here the past few years. The rest on the Left, and a few in particular should be avoided like hazardous waste! :thumbsdown:
