SNL's problem is that bad jokes they sometimes make (every comedian should be allowed to make any joke they think will entertain and get laughs), but it's how timid they've become politically.
What did he say that was as bad as our president saying that he "prefers soldiers who doesn't get captured", referring to McCain? SNL is satirical humor, lighten up......
