They want to impeach him for obstructing their requests for information. What is that guy smoking?

He said “Among other things”. Maybe he was smoking your Reading Comprehension for Dummies booklet?

"I just filed a resolution with @Jim_Jordan and several colleagues to impeach Rod Rosenstein. The DOJ has continued to hide information from Congress and repeatedly obstructed oversight--even defying multiple Congressional subpoenas.

We have had enough."

Tell me what I misread smartass?

Among other things = all the things they want to impeach him for and "something that happened 6 months before he had the job /= why they want to impeach Rosenstein.

Maybe you should be better at internets Clark.

Good news...you didn’t misread anything in that tweet.

Bad news...you don’t realize that you can’t actually impeach anybody via tweet.

There is an actual resolution with articles that have to be written and submitted. It’s a whole thing. Government, eh?

So what recourse does the House have if he's not honoring their requests as he is required to?

C’mon Dave. You have me feeling bad about what I’m doing to you here. It doesn’t have to be this way.

You do realize Rosenstein signed off on the last FISC application, right?

You mean the third extension after the initial one in October 2016, right? Where each 90 day extension would have then had to be signed off by a judge, right?

No I don’t know nothing about that.

Required to?

Don’t be so sure. It is an Independent Counsel. DOJ is not required to release all information in an ongoing investigation.

Republicans in Congress will just have to shed a few more tears.

The FBI needs a restart...

just for these reasons alone...

14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct
The following general principles apply to every employee and may form the basis for the standards contained in this part. Where a situation is not covered by the standards set forth in this part, employees shall apply the principles set forth in this section in determining whether their conduct is proper.

Public service is a public trust, requiring employees to place loyalty to the Constitution, the laws and ethical principles above private gain.

Employees shall not hold financial interests that conflict with the conscientious performance of duty.

Employees shall not engage in financial transactions using nonpublic Government information or allow the improper use of such information to further any private interest.

An employee shall not, except as permitted by [these standards of conduct], solicit or accept any gift or other item of monetary value from any person or entity seeking official action from, doing business with, or conducting activities regulated by the employee’s agency, or whose interests may be substantially affected by the performance or nonperformance of the employee’s duties.

Employees shall put forth honest effort in the performance of their duties.

Employees shall not knowingly make unauthorized commitments or promises of any kind purporting to bind the Government.

Employees shall not use public office for private gain.

Employees shall act impartially and not give preferential treatment to any private organization or individual.

Employees shall protect and conserve Federal property and shall not use it for other than authorized activities.

Employees shall not engage in outside employment or activities, including seeking or negotiating for employment, that conflict with their official Government duties and responsibilities.

Employees shall disclose waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption to the appropriate authorities.

Employees shall satisfy in good faith their obligations as citizens, including all just financial obligations, especially those—such as Federal, State, or local taxes—that are imposed by law.

Employees shall adhere to all laws and regulations that provide equal opportunity for all Americans regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or handicap.

Employees shall endeavor to avoid any actions creating the appearance that they are violating the law or the ethical standards set forth in this part. Whether particular circumstances create an appearance that the law or these standards have been violated shall be determined from the perspective of a reasonable person with knowledge of the relevant facts.

ie: (Hillary Clinton campaign, DNC, Trump)

Everyone one of the anti-Trumpers who openly expressed their disdain for him should be fired over this alone! At least Comey was.

They should quit asking and quit trying to interfere in ongoing investigations for political reasons.

Would there even be an issue if Rosen-what's his name- just turned over the documents being requested when they're requested?

No!

(A lot of FBI types might lose their jobs or face prison though...thus the delays)

None of these documents have anything to do with Manafort, Papadoupolis, etc.
Much has already been turned over to them and they're just trying to see what Mueller has on the so called prez and his admin so that they can help Trump. This impeachment bit is just a **** show for Trump's low info base anyways.

Why would they need to see what Mueller has when Mueller already has access to whatever they have gathered on Trump? FISA? "inside" plants within the Trump campaign? Who spied on whom?

Even putting a Leftist "spin" on that defense @moe makes no sense. Come up with a better reason why Rosen-what's his face- refuses to turn over requested documents. That's both weak and stupid @moe !
