So are those on the left that think like 5 year olds.

Washington, Jefferson, etc. are next on their list.
Who cares what the far left say? Washington didn't commit treason by launching a war against the US

It is actually hilarious these numbnuts can't understand simple concepts between the difference between owning slaves in the 1700's and taking up arms against the country during the civil war. How they can walk and breath at the same time is amazing.

Do you think this is just about Generals fighting for the south? Blacks don't care about that, they want those statues down because of slavery. I bet very few people on both sides can name the states of the confederacy or the north for that matter.

Wrong. Some people of all colors and cultures are against the message those symbols have now taken in society by people like yourself other right wing nuts. And are against that message to be used in order to be exploited and used to divide the country based on race and culture. The right refuses to respect others and they have been strengthened by this president. If it was just about history, there wouldn't be that big of problem. The problem is how the history is being used in today's society. Now either get on the side of treating all with equal respect and honor based on race and culture in our country or be scum. I know what you will choose.

On the other hand, the left wants to be offended, wait, no, triggered on every possible minute error, and now want to defined 300 unscientific genders based on people's feelings. The left is so tied up in their feelings it's a wonder they are able to tie their shoes in the mornings. The left has become violent with their feelings. Now either get on the side of being sane, or be scum. I know what side you choose.

You have proven many times in the past that you are a disgrace to Christianity with absolutely no character. You did it again. Be proud and remain a racist.

Notice how when anyone doesn't conform to your version of acceptability you resort to labeling and denigrating them?

I do not take the statues of those generals as endorsement of slavery. I am against the confederate flag. The left respects nobody and their against are horrible too. Pigs in a blanket fry them like bacon. Is that something to be proud of? I am against David Duke and the KKK, and white suprematists.

If you are against it, don't justify their behavior. Really is simple.

One thing we agree on is the viewpoint of the statutes. But it isn't my viewpoint that is important and neither is yours if that is a true statement by you. It is those that are using that symbol to push an agenda of hate. Why are you so blind and can't see it? Forget idealology for a moment. Just look at right and wrong. Look at David Duke's comments. Look at any of these racists comments. It is simply wrong in America. If you respect Reagan, listen to what he said about racism and follow his behavior he exhibited as president and quit justifying the wrong in any form.

Free speech is free speech even one you don't like. I don;t like what the left says either but they are entitled to it. Neither are entitled to damage property, or each other. If the police had hit that crowd with tear gas, there would have been less damage, maybe. And I hate what duke stands for too. I don't like either's far right and left comments, but they are entitled to speak but not damage. Should the Antifa thugs who rioted in Berkley over ann coulter been arrested?

Free speech has consequences. When one uses it for hatred, then expect a reaction. Personal responsibility starts with each one of us at all times.

I don't know much about Antifa. I know a little about the Ann Coulter issue. I believe some that got out of control during the protesting of Ann Coulter were arrested after they broke the law. Not sure of your point.

There is no hate speech exception in the 1st amendment...the way to combat it is with speech that refutes it's message. Yes personal responsibility starts with everyone's actions (or reactions). You can't seek to harm a person just because you don't like or agree with what they say.

You don't know much about Antifa because the media which liberals constantly defend do not cover their violence nearly as much as they should. Liberal politicians don't denounce their violence nearly as much as they should. Their terrorism is not spoken about in the liberal bubble. The condemnation of the KKK is 100% justified and necessary. The silence on Antifa is irresponsible. You will continue to see violence at protests and college speeches as long as Antifa is allowed to wreak havoc.

Just re-stating in my terms. I don't care for identity politics or hate groups...but I can't see how we can put limits on free speech and still be the country we're supposed to be. But it seems like some are advocating for that.

I wish all of us on both sides could agree that hate on both sides is wrong.

Why we have confederate statues up boggles my mind.

Why some defend it boggles my mind.

Why some can't see Antifa is a hate group boggles my mind.
