One can only hope.Spineless corporation. That dude's about to get paid.
Here tis.<<<What memo?
I asked a question. You responded but didn't know the answer so I told you to ask someone who knows the answer. There is no memo.WTH?
So back to my original question, why does anyone care that this guy got fired? Here tis.<<<
It's conflicting liberals thoughts. Actually reading it only confuses them more.
Here's an interesting take by Debra Sol, PhD in sexual neuroscience. <<<What memo?
I read it twice. You haven't read it at all or you wouldn't be embarrassing yourself. So back to my original question, why does anyone care that this guy got fired?
And you still don't know why anyone would care that this guy got fired yet you keep responding, cool. I know what that guy's rant (memo) says. My point is that if you embarrass your employer in an intended public way or your correspondence gets made public, expect to get fired and that's what happened here. No one should surprised.I read it twice. You haven't read it at all or you wouldn't be embarrassing yourself.
No, you are just not READY for the discussion. No one is surprised by that. And you still don't know why anyone would care that this guy got fired yet you keep responding, cool. Apparently there is no discussion and that's fine. 82 posted it but that's all he's capable of....and you, you've got nothing. Good deal. No, you are just not READY for the discussion. No one is surprised by that.
Good grief. You could have read it by now and offered an opinion with all the effort you've put into snarky replies. I willing to discuss the firing and subsequent lawsuits with anyone except you're lazy ***. You're here done except for your final/forthcoming barb.Apparently there is no discussion and that's fine. 82 posted it but that's all he's capable of....and you, you've got nothing. Good deal.
Wow, that was a really well researched and thought out paper. I can't believe this guy got fired for a pragmatic attempt or even a new approach towards solving a problem. Here tis.<<<

My take is the guy got fired for presenting data and an approach towards solving a problem which conflicts with leftist ideaology.Apparently there is no discussion and that's fine. 82 posted it but that's all he's capable of....and you, you've got nothing. Good deal.
Yep. Probably has nothing to do with Google being a massive public corporation. It's a librul conspiracy!!My take is the guy got fired for presenting data and an approach towards solving a problem which conflicts with leftist ideaology.
My opinion (which I have already stated) is that I'm ok with him being fired. It's not complicated. I assumed that the OP was not or I thought he might have an opinion but there's nothing wrong with silence especially from him.Good grief. You could have read it by now and offered an opinion with all the effort you've put into snarky replies. I willing to discuss the firing and subsequent lawsuits with anyone except you're lazy ***. I'm sure that was the ultimate reason, but back to Root Cause...Yep. Probably has nothing to do with Google being a massive public corporation. It's a librul conspiracy!!
The rhetoric with this graph seems to at least abide with leftists notions. Google can employ anyone they want, but this doesn't seem to be a good business model. They obviously have some smart people (Google Earth, Maps, Search Engine) because they have enough money to buy literally anything they want.My take is the guy got fired for presenting data and an approach towards solving a problem which conflicts with leftist ideaology.
That's Google's business model? Looks to me like a diagram from an ex-Google employee's rant.but this doesn't seem to be a good business model.
Society? I don't think that's Google's job. They have a fiduciary duty do their shareholders....I don't think this is anywhere close to a tough/controversial call. The dude clearly had his own agenda, and good for him. He's going to get paid.I'm sure that was the ultimate reason, but back to Root Cause...
The root cause that I was referring to was why was this controversial? This wasn't some manifesto and rambling of a crazy man. It was a very well thought out, researched approach towards solving a problem through alternative methods. It's funny that the very things he raised as points have come to fruition.Society? Fair enough, but did management task him to research this and report on it? Seems like this guy knew what he was doing and got the reaction he wanted. Ultimately Google's management needed to make a choice and went with what they felt was best for the company. Are you telling me you've not read opinion pieces at PWC from people within the company? I know at EY a very good friend of ours wrote a very good piece about generational management titled "Engaging the millennial". Completely unsolicited and despite it being written by a millennial for the benefit of millennials (irony is thick), it was still a good piece. At the time, she was a manager, I think she's about to pick up partner, last I heard, anyway.Fair enough, but did management task him to research this and report on it? That wasn't my point. In the end, does any of it matter? I don't think my dozen or so shares is going to grant me much sway. Are you telling me you've not read opinion pieces at PWC from people within the company? This isn't a new concept in big corporate America. I've written white papers unsolicited for our upper management as we've broadened our contracts. My best one, at least the one that received the most attention was on shifting our mentality from a prosecution of targets mentality to now working hand in hand with them. It was a major mentality shift for me and as I went through it using how we were setup, I found numerous deficiencies in our ability to support some of these contracts and detailed some recommended changes. Again, unsolicited.

Whether I agree with what he posted or not, he could have delivered his message better. Google is a massive public corporation in the midst of gender pay lawsuits and government oversight. The guy knew what he was doing and the Alt Right are eating up.
