I'm against Howard here. Bruce's initial message was a backhanded comment criticizing the effort on the field during the bowl game. This has some legitimacy given the way the team rolled over in the second half. Out of line? Minimally at worst. That being said, I didn't see a specific person being called out yet Howard took it that way. Throughout his career at WVU, Howard did have some thin skin with his own backhanded comments about being booed. So he attacks Bruce's team and results on the field before behaving like a petulant child when the verbal sparring occurs. Either guy could've and should've taken the high road here, but they didn't. High road doesn't mean just taking it on the chin, but responding in a more civil, less accusatory way. Since neither did that, I have to side against who handled it worse.
