No idea what you're talking about on the Obama support. The rich always get richer no matter who is in charge.
or just paying their CEOs and other top management more. Care to support that?
What did the rich do to take advantage of that situation? You don't say what fiscal policy is going to improve the economy. The rich will certainly be enriched with the proposed tax cuts. What are the proposed spending cuts to offset the decrease in tax revenue from the tax cuts? The rich love Republicans and it's not by accident. Can't wait for the trickle down part 2 fail.
Honestly, your post is so full or errors. You supported Obama vigorously. Under Obama, the rich benefitted tremendously with the Fed's policy of QE and zero interest rates. The stock market went up incredibly.
If a company grows their EPS by $20/share, of course the compensation of the head of the company will go up, it's called incentives and is used all the time. Additionally, it the company is expanding and growing that means more jobs. Jack Welch made huge sums of money as CEO of GE, but they employed hundreds of thousands of people. Everyone benefitted when GE grew.
I enumerated a lot of fiscal policy that I believe Trump will follow to stimulate the economy and job creation. Lower taxes for everyone. Lower corporate taxes. Repatriation of overseas profits. Exploitation of our energy industry. Elimination of terrible regulations. Securing the border. Overturning Obamacare which destroyed jobs. Infrastructure spending. All fiscal policies.
And as Reagan proved (look it up), lower tax rates INCREASE tax revenue paid to the Treasury. Reagan almost doubled the taxes paid by Americans to the Treasury over his 8 years. His average GDP over his 8 years, including the recession in 1982 to get extremely high interest rates under control, was 3.5%. Obama has never once achieved 3% GDP growth in any one quarter.
Also, under Reagan, the rich paid more in taxes after the tax cuts. The middle income and poor paid much lower taxes. Nice try.
